He won't get my vote. I admire him for standing up against Trump and the republicans that have been complacent about all this white nationalist garbage. However, I disagree with a lot of his positions specifically with transportation and less investment in Baltimore which could really use a boost right now. He canceled the red line which would have been a boom for the city in terms of jobs and attracting development especially after it had funding from the feds. Not only that but he cut back on the purple line and directed funds towards the rural areas of the state.

He hasn't stood up to Trump. He refused to speak out against the Muslim ban and even deleted posts off his facebook site from people who criticized him. What good is a Republican governor? Taxes are high anyway, and none of his rural highway projects benefit me.

I have never really been active in the Maryland governor's race but am gearing up to volunteer and do what I can to ensure Hogan loses next time.
