Will Larry Hogan win Re-Election?

Do what now?!

Does that mean that black people are oppressed in MD with Governor Hogan, but that's ok, because, well, why? Because it's ok to oppress black people? Because you're white? Why?

I'm not seeing the downside here? We could do with a little oppression, frankly. A taste of our own medicine.

Hogan only won 51-47 in 2014 in a GOP wave year. I don't think Hogan is as bulletproof as some folks here seem to think.

There's a troll on this thread who pretends he's a Democrat and then says stupid racist things designed to infuriate everybody. It's sad.

Redistribution of income is a democrat standard.

No one is disputing this. several folks have pointed that all but one of the Dem candidates do support the redistribution. But if Hogan also supports it, I lose an incentive to vote for him.

Democrats redistribute with the desire to help the poor. Hogan redistributes because his voting base isn’t the wealthier MoCo/HoCo.

Except there are a lot of poor kids right here in Montgomery county. They’ll be hurt most of all when the wealthier and middle class folks balk at a huge tax hike and decreased school services and pick up and leave.

I'd like to think that majority of the people in MD are not insane so yes, I think Hogan will win.

Do you always think that people are insane when they don't agree with you? Might want to seek treatment for that disorder.

We are also Republican and voted for Hogan. We’d like to continue voting for him because he is pro-business, however education is important to us. We are not happy to hear that money would leave MoCo and HoCo from the Kiernan commission report. We also think Ben Jealous is a crazy nut job who’d raise taxes sky high. We own 8 acres in MoCo and we’d pick up and leave for VA if Jealous became Governor because we don’t want to pay for universal pre-school, climate change and free college. This is not DC, this county does not have 2 Billion in reserves. Ben Jealous’s race/ethnic heritage does not matter as we are an interracial family. This county is running in the negative for growth. We are going to vote for Maladeno. I saw someone mentioned earlier about changing party lines, is that really necessary to vote for Maladeno? We’d like to keep our Republican tag. Does anyone have a link or info about voting across party lines in MD? Thank you.

Well, if that's how you feel, then that's how you feel. I wouldn't do that, but it's your decision.
