Not true. Women need an emotional connection. I read it here.

Sure they do. But they already have an emotional connection. Now his body is signaling it has more testosterone with the visible muscles and that's attractive to women on a basic animalistic level. So she's more attracted to him. Could also be that she's less tired and that her sex drive kicked in due to age.

PP you are replying to, and of course, all things being equal, a better body on a man will be a plus. But in my experience, you are going to get laid more as a heavy guy if married to a woman with a high sex drive than an in-shape guy married to a woman with a low sex drive. It's her that is the gatekeeper.

It doesn't matter the sex drive.

Women won't have sex with somebody they resent or is a jerk. Which is why pouting over not getting sex gets you less sex.

The 1st Viagra for women study failed because they did not screen for men that were jerks. Basically, no pill in the world will make a women have sex with a jerk. The emotional connection breaks down with resentment... Like being gone every frickin Saturday morning leaving mom as a single mom after an intense workweek.

Once the study got rid of men that were jerks they could do a study to see if sex drive increased with drugs.

Yes, hard bodies are incredibly enticing. My husband would score at least once a day if he was even close to how muscular he was when I married him. And, yes, I am in very good shape.

My DH got in shape much like the OP and sex went from me dreading it 2xs a month to initiating it a few times a week.

Wait, what? Women have sex with jerks all the time, it's just usually in their 20s and before marriage.

Thanks for the clarification. I'd never seen an actual definition for "emotional connection." It's just two words jammed together, creating the illusion of meaning. As you describe it, however, it seems to just mean "horny."

Of course a fit, sexy guy with muscles is going to get more sex than his fatter self. Even if a woman resents him she'll still sleep with him and justify it as "using him for sex" and "its the only thing he's good for".

Not true.

They may get drunk and bang him but they won't come back over and over and over unless she has emotional issues.

Congrats to you op. I unfortunately have the opposite story. I used to be chunky 5'9 195 and we would have sex once a month. She told me my stomach turned her off and that we would sleep more if I lost weight. I did lose weight as I am now 155 and stronger than ever and even have a six pack. We have had sex twice the last 3 plus years.

Unfortunately, that's not why. Male viagra effectively treats the physical symptom of ED in men that have a normal libido and otherwise want to have sex. The reason Addyi failed is that female low desire isn't a physical problem at all. It's a mental problem, and the afflicted women don't actually want to have sex, and (unsurprisingly) are not motivated to seek treatment. The biggest advocates for Addyi are the male partners, which basically means there is no legitimate female market for Addyi patients, even if it DID work.

But the 2nd study increased libido once you corrected for the fact women won't bang bad HS.

Clearly you want this mythical story to be true. Give us the links to your 2nd study that show Addyi is effective sans jerky men.

Your theory is pretty insulting to women. Rather than, you know, calling the jerk a jerk and communicating what behavioral changes you need from him to restore your libido, instead you postulate that women would pop an expensive pill in hopes of wanting sex with a jerk?

I'm the original poster and I didn't post any of the above conversation. I'm not sure who you're arguing with.
