Ah, yes, I remember that friend! He/she was not aware that Western Fairfax is part of Comstock's district.

Western Fairfax is not part of the 10th Congressional District. Please look at map here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia%27s_10th_congressional_district#/media/File:Virginia_US_Congressional_District_10_(since_2013).tif

You're kidding, right? I live in the Fairfax Co section of Chantilly, practically on the South Riding border, and we are most certainly in this despicable woman's district. She has an office across from the Costco on Lee Road and her constituents routinely knock on my door before an election.

As a friend of Comstock, I would think you'd at least know which areas she serves.

Look at the map, idiot, western fairfax is not part of the 10th congressional district. Even the wiki says "portions" of fairfax. You can bluster all you want but go look at the map (which is the result of state gerrymandering not federal). If you have a gripe, take it up with the legislature of Virginia.

I live in Clifton. I consider this to be Western Fairfax County, and Im represented by Comstock.

Which part of Fairfax do you consider to be the western section? Please enlighten those of us who actually live here!

Are you the only one seeing this magical map that does not include parts of western Fairfax?

And maybe you need to tell the people at the election office to stop putting her on my ballot in 22033 Fairfax since she obviously doesn't represent anyone in western Fairfax.

Please look at the map of the 10th congressional district. Even WAPO says the 10th is made up of ""thin strands of Fairfax . . . ". Wolf’s district looks on a map like a bent, hungry alligator, its body stretched across fast-growing suburbs from Loudoun County to still-fairly rural Clarke and Frederick counties, its jaws made up of thin strands of Fairfax and Prince William counties." Go to this map. Look at the word FAIRFAX and look to the left toward the left. It is not in the 10th Congressional district. Only "portions of Fairfax" are included. https://ballotpedia.org/Virginia%27s_10th_Congressional_District.

The 8th congressional district contains "portions of Fairfax". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia%27s_8th_congressional_district

Uh, yeah, "portions of Fairfax" including the western portion. If you don't consider Clifton/Centreville/Chantilly to be the western portion of the county, it's YOU who needs to look more closely at the map.

You know, 14:01, you just might apologize to someone when you learn you are wrong but have been beating them up on a thread. It's people posting like you do that will throw my vote to Comstock. I never see her or her campaign on DCUM insulting constituents.

How exactly am I wrong? Are the areas I mentioned (Centreville/ Chantilly/ Clifton) not located in both the 10th district and Western Fairfax?

so, are we arguing over whether the district includes ALL of western Fairfax or just portions?

REALLY?

Parts of western Fairfax are in Comstock's district. It is an oddly gerrymandered district that was created for Wolf.

Can we please stop arguing about this now?

+1000. These women sound like they have never matured - that they are all still mean girls from high school days, those who love nothing better than to bring down a better, more accomplished, person. These DNC-generated anti-Babs posts pop up here @ every 3 months and more frequently in an election year. These posts do nothing to encourage a healthy debate about matters that "Babs" (that's insulting and infantilizing right there) could do some valuable constituency work on. Instead, when these posts appear, it is always with the intent to destroy Barbara. These posts say it all about the liberal mindset: they are going to use misogyny, bigotry, hatred, fearmongering, and out-right lies to try and teat down Barbara. That's not right. If you feel so strongly about "Babs not noticing upi in a crowd because she knew I was useless to her" then write her a letter on the issues and talk to her about your concerns. Do not post lies . . . . like the lies that one PP made a few days ago making fun of "Babs" and "her McLean mansion" and her "rich husband." You wnat to know the truth? She's not rich. She lives in a modest two=story wood sided house with a small backyard and no pool (my house is much closer to a "McLean Mansion" and her "rich" husband was a teacher, then a principal in the FCPS system, now retired. And all Republicans in McLean know that, so by making these wild accusations the DNC and campaign workers actually work against their own candidates because few people want to see this kind of one-sided ugliness that is posted regularly here on DCUM against Barbara. And, like I said before, You never see Barbara try to take down a candidate by lying on an anonymous blog like this, have you?

I'd love to see Barbara Comstock appear on an anonymous blog (or anywhere, really). At least she'd be doing her job and talking to her constituents.

So, I'm lying about being at a bipartisan event and personally witnessing her openly ignore multiple people who were right in front of her trying to exchange pleasantries with her?

Alrighty then.

And since I know these folks they confided to me that she treats them this way every time they cross paths. They have to be cordial to her because she is a friend of their boss, but she is pretty obvious about her indifference towards those who are not of use to her.
Anonymous
Oh, look Barbara's friend came back!

How much is her "modest" house worth, Friend of Barb? Since you brought it up...

I'm so psyched for her to lose her seat. She is a coward who is afraid of her constituents and she is completely 100% wrong on all the issues our family cares about.
