A small restaurant in Long Island, ny that I frequented. They made a dark chocolate cake with a layer of cheesecake in the middle. Chocolate frosted and fresh whipped cream on the plate. Juniors cheesecake made the same, but this restaurants was just a little different and better.

My grandmother "cassata" (not sure spelling) cake. White cake that she drizzled Tia Marie liquor on, had cassata (cannoli cream) filling and frosting.

The prettier they are the worse they taste. This is fact.

Not true.

It is. I hate to break it to you, your perfectly smooth fondant cake was inedible.

I'm an eater. Not a baker.

I like fondant. Not everyone dies.

Everyone dies. So eat cake.

A friend convinced me to get one, and I didn't like it at all. De gustibus!

Once my mom sent me this 3 pound cannoli cake from QVC. It was the greatest thing. I regret how much of it I ate, but so good.

Also Hollin Hall Pastry Shop their strawberry shortcake and Bavarian cream are amazing. I had both flavors for my wedding cake.

Our wedding cake was from Ann Amernick and was perfect.

So many good cakes! Alexandria Pastry Shop has a passionfruit mousse cake that is amazing (and I am not a fruit cake type of person), the coconut cake at the Halekulani in Wakiki is the epitome of coconut cake, and chocolate cake at Iron Gate!

Sorry forgot Heidelberg- their wedding pound cake and their petit fours.

I love baked and wired cupcakes. All the flavors I have had are awesome, but my favorite is the funfetti kind, with cream cheese frosting. It has a stupid name now, uniporn and rainho, but I bet it is still as delicious as it was when I lived nearby and could get it all the time!
