Bowser hates poor people and gives sweetheart deals to any rich corporation that will give her administration the time of day. Corrupt and she can't make the city run. DC govt doesn't pay its bills.

Check out the WaPo article on the council investigation into all of the contracting irregularities in favor of a leading crony contractor and contributor, Fort Meyer Construction. They mayor's response? Nothing to investigate here.

It's truly shocking. You also have to fault the council for not holding her accountable. One also has to wonder what games Mary Cheh is playing. My understanding is that she has not also referred her report to the IG. She's also in a rather strong position to propose reforms, yet does not do so. Seems to rather prefer weakening Bowser for her own gain rather than trying to promote clean government.

No democrat has won the majority of the white vote in presidential elections in this country since 1964 . I wonder why ?
