| It is so annoying that the schools don't send at the same time. Still no scores. |
| Still nothing in the mail or school for us too. Thought all scores are sent out the same time? |
134 is not a high score, I am talking about high 140s and 150s. |
I believe someone posted on one of the results boards that her child got a 155 on the NNAT but a very average CogAT and was not admitted. So it is in no way an insurance policy. Additionally, for years they look at a composite score for the CogAT "in pool" baseline, having an off day can bring the entire CogAT score down. |
This is completely not true- in on first round with 105 NNAT 135 Cogat 8 GBRS |
| Anyone still waiting for the nnat scores? |
Parent of a 1st grader in FCPS here. Still nothing from my kid's school. Haven't seen it on the SIS Parent Account, either, although I have no idea if the scores have ever been accessible there. |
That is nuts! I don't even believe you. |
I believe her. That's what's wrong with the AAP program. No rhyme or reason to who gets in. But so glad my tax dollars are going to support this nonsensical segregation. |
May be this is true, but it would be an exception than a norm. |

Last year my DD was admitted with 122 CogAT 126 Naglieri, but 16 GBRS (with loads of commentary). Her brother was not admitted the year prior with 126 Naglieri and 118 CogAt also with a 16 GBRS (did not see commentary, had already decided not to appeal due to autism and ADHD creating a severe dislike for writing). My oldest (now in 8th) was denied in 2nd with a 136 CogAt (148 nonverbal) and 129 Naglieri with an 8 GBRS. We were denied on appeal, but reapplied in 3rd on his teacher's rec. In first round, started in 4th.
In my small little family sample, having a high GBRS is helpful, but only if both scores are near or above the cutoff. If both scores are above the cutoff, I would suspect you could get away with a lower GBRS. |

It finally came in the mail today. My child got 145 on NNAT.
|
| Anyone from Shrevewood got it? |
But that makes sense to me. The poster above had poor scores and a low GBRS and no WISC attached. |
|
we got the letter: 133 on NNAT
Are we on the pool?? |
