Never thought about it until now, but you're right. It's an awkward word.

I feel that way about "rural", I can never pronounce it correctly!

I think men who like Brazilian waxes are pedophiles (they want hairless little girls to screw)

I feel safer when i talk to people I hardly know. People I know really well know ME too well and it makes me feel trapped

Totally agree. The whole pre-pubescent look (waif-like, breastless models, full wax-jobs, baby-doll dresses) just icks me out more than I can say.

This reminds me of something I learned. Ever wonder why the 'top' models are usually extremely small breasted? Most of the men who put them there are men who are attracted to other men, or boys. This explains it all for me.

Ha ha, this reminds me of the 30 Rock episode, 'Rural Juror'. Did you see it?

I think of that every time I hear the word rural and laugh out loud.

Awesome episode.

I am secretly in love with my father-in-law. I am so attracted to him. The really crazy thing is that he feels the same way about me. Nothing has happened, nor will anything ever happen. It is so sad that I am totally in love with him. If only…

His son, my husband, is the next best thing I guess!

I have small breasts and straight men find me attractive. Models are (typically) super-skinny and flat-chested b/c they operate as hangers. I think it's disgraceful that this body type is the only one that is widely accepted in the fashion industry, but that's neither here nor there.

2 words I so much dislike are flu and raw. They both make my skin crawl.

Actually, it's because clothes hang better on small-breasted women. Historically smaller breasts are also associated with higher social class.

"Historically smaller breasts are also associated with higher social class."

Thought curvy women with larger breasts (eg women in paintings) were historically associated with higher social class because they had more food and didn't have to toil away working.

oh, honey, this is more like a passing interest in lip gloss! i have about 15 floating around, at any one time, and that doesn't include lip balm! i figure it is good fun, no?

I'm 24.

I've had sex with 32 people.

21 guys and 11 women.

I'm thinking of Anglo-Saxon culture, primarily. Both for men and women, there's a certain stereotypical look associated with the upper classes in Britain: Tall, slim, small-busted (for women), long face, fair hair. Alison Lurie has written a bit about this. In any case, I'm speaking of clothed women. Not nudes
