Post three things we should know about you...

I really do think there are a lot of queens trapped in mens bodies around here. He was probably jealous of your nice shoes or something lame ass like that. Be glad you are not him, really.

1. I think organized religion is for people who cannot think for themselves or for those who are scared to take a look within. I find, in general, most people who "believe" tend to be the biggest hypocrites.

2. I cannot understand how being one of the flock can make one truly happy in life. What is so wrong with being yourself?

3. I don't cook.

1. It disturbs me that there seems to be little difference between executing a person and euthanizing a pet. I've seen both. My dog got better drugs. Snuffing life out in any form should not be this easy (although in the dog's case I am glad it was so peaceful). I don't believe in the death penalty because it seems like the easy way out.

2. Some days I like to think I am complex. Other days I think maybe I am just f'd up. I don't like that I can't seem to decide between being a nice person and a snarky one, especially on this forum. I would rather be nice, but I feel like I have to protect my soft side sometimes. My husband calls me a grilled cheese sandwich - crusty on the outside, gooey on the inside.

3. I get really tired of being in charge of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING.

I think organized religion can be also for people who like to share their opinion, faith and talents and also think for themselves.

Snarkiness is good, sarcasm is great. But if you are one of the posters putting someone down just because they have a different life choice or life situation than you - that is not complexity, it is just annoying and typically a sign of unhappiness.

But if you just ribbing someone or eye rolling at them, I'm all for it.

My thought exactly. Especially when the nanny looks bored or ignores them.

What do you feel when the parents ignore the child?

Sadness, sorrow. Then I usually say, "What a precious child you have." And smile.

So, if you feel such sorrow and sadness for children who are neglected by their parents, there are plenty of kids and sservices that could use your help. Go out there and do something about it, rather than preaching your self-righteousness on this board.

Yeah but where's the fun in that?

I wish I were more of a quick thinker--it comes to me much later.
My husband and I aren't married, but we tell people we are for the sake of our child. We just never got around to it, but I did change my last name to his. We both had shitty first marriages.
I'm a perfectionist, probably OCD.

That's EXACTLY what I say to a parent who I notice ignoring their child to concentrate on another family or nanny.

I am so torn up by these parents I am planning on starting a nonprofit group. So sad. So much sorrow. Such sadness and sorrow. Precious, precious children.

I believe it was Whitney Houston who said, I believe the children are our future. Let's all join hands and sing, shall we? For the children? The children of the neglectful nannies?

Only boring children are ignored. If they want more attention they should raise their game.

But seriously PP, you should piss off and get a life, you judgemental wanker.

I was the poster who said maybe the PP was bad at math-it was meant to be an encouraging post. I was trying to say that if the poster truly believed he/she had failed more than succeeded, then( with gentle sarcasm) their math was probably faulty and they were being a little too hard on themselves. It had absolutely nothing to do with a male or female's true mathematical abilities and I can't believe anyone took it that way.
