All classes? That is a (not good) gamechanger for Brookland families who enrolled there and consider it one of their neighborhood schools.

So is Lee going to take over the 'excess' Bethune space. It is in Ward 5? Interesting.

It is going to be Perry. An admin mentioned it like two years ago at a school fair before Lee even started--before they started smartly not giving concrete information about the future location. When I realized where it was, this gave me pause because it is pretty far from me, but I thought well maybe it isn't Perry because they started saying within a mile. The latest revision of within 1 to 2 miles leaves me to believe it is definitely Perry. And yes, two montessoris at the same location would be great for both schools although LAMB isnt really montessori

and Lee is.

That is a risk inherent with charter schools.

I know Bethune just got approved for a second campus ( see meeting minutes below), but does that Church have enough space? And isn't that going backwards, having your own building versus going back to a Church?

Please provide more detail to this - who informed you and are you referring to SY 15-16 or SY 16-17 for the move?

Well, I doubt they are lying. They may be misremembreing. And they could certainly be dead wrong about what the administrator said, but I doubt they are lying.

I was at a Ward 5 school fair and it was Meghan or the other woman who left who indeed said this re: having their sights on Perry. I have no reason to lie. No dog in this fight.

I don't think I believe a LAMB- Lee co-locate .

Why not? LAMB wouldn't have any say over the decision one way or another and the way the building is configured there is minimal interactions between the schools operating there. Besides, LAMB doesn't intend to stay at Perry long-term anyway (if Walter Reed is even turned over).

+1. No different than Lee co-locating with IT.

If there is no difference, then are they only seeking a 2 year or short term lease ? Might be the plan.
