Perry St Prep building has excess space now that the PSP HS is gone. LAMB has one wing already; would they decide to put two Montessori schools in the same space?

This. I think Imagines lease may be up in the next year or so. The only schools closing are tree of life (closed) and I know Potomac Lighthouse restructured last year.

I don't think it's either of those buildings either but they have consistently said within one mile. Half a mile is within one mile. So is three quarters of a mile. Now they are saying ten minutes drive during rush hour.

Bethune isn't leaving its space. Its new building in Ward 4 is just for early childhood. No way the whole school is moving over there and vacating Brookland space.

It's a terrible, terrible space. It is surrounded by at least 5 auto mechanics businesses and a scrap metal dump. I would be more concerned if the kids had any outdoor time because of the air quality issues. There are so many cars and trucks idling.

How do you know this? Are you on the board? The principal?

I just know that the new space was said to be an additional location and not a replacement location and it doesn't have facilities for full PK-8.
