I've never seen worms in my sushi.

Sushi is alwsys frozen to kill parasites .

We buy salmon from trader joes, frozen. Will that kill the parasites? Or not cold enough?

If you're in Bethesda, go to Pescadeli on Bethesda Ave (next to the crab house). They supply a lot of restaurants so they have very high quality (though with a price to match).

Well... here's a video about worms in fish. She doesn't seem bothered

I, on the other hand, will continue NEVER eating fish.

Only because you dont know what is in the meat....or vegetables...or ground up in your processed food.

A frirnd of mine worked at a slaughterhouse where a colleague lost three fingers in an accident. They ended up mixed in with 500 pounds of meet. The inspectors decided it was within the tolerances and allowed it through, ground fingers and all.

I wish I hadn't read this thread... what you don't know doesn't hurt you. I'll never look at fish the same way.
