Black people can't get ahead due to: 1. anger about racism 2. unwillingness to change to suit racists 3. a belief that people should treat all people with respect 4. pointing out racism So all would be sunshine, roses, and millionaires if only black people would learn to be happy about racism, accept being treated as lesser, and never, ever, ever pointing out racism? How about that. |
Exactly which stereotype? |
This reminds me of the white teenagers who have tattoos all over their bodies, half shaved heads and piercings, and get mad at people for "staring" at them. Well, what did you expect if you make yourself look like that? If you choose to dress that way, you will pay the price--people will tare and think ill of you. If you choose to dress in clothing associated with thugs, people will fear you. If you don't want this reaction. DON'T DRESS THIS WAY. |
Ok racism is pointed out over and over again. What is the solution to it? Is there one? |
The solution is for people to stop having racist beliefs and stop doing racist things. |
Seek therapy! |
HUH?? Wearing a sweatshirt and some jeans is thuggish cause some dude wore it when he robbed a gas station????? Jeans and a sweatshirt. How about not being so lazy as to associate that outfit with criminal BEHAVIOUR. My DH sometimes wears turtlenecks, that does not make him Steve Jobs. |
"A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still." |
Ok, OK, we get it: black folks just have to stop being black, then people will stop being racist . |
"A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still."
If everyone stopped being racist what do you think would change about AA behavior? |
Are you asking the millions of different, individual AA people what will change in their individual BEHAVIOUR?? |
OK, so it's impossible to end racism. Also, black people shouldn't be angry about this. Makes perfect sense. |
Yes. |
HUH? |
The moment I hear the African Immigrant accent is the moment I relax. |
