Wait, person who said Francis Stevens will rezone to Hyde-Addison, is this just your random idea or do you have some info. This would seriously change our plans.

No the ES grades will go to Marie Reed. But why don't you take a minute to actually look at the information: http://www.scribd.com/doc/113130662/School-Closures

Francis goes to Marie Reed.

Where do the schools who were feeder schools to Shaw @ Garnett-Patterson end up sending kids to middle school, I wonder.

The "baby boom" kids aren't 5 years old yet. How many age 0-4 kids are about to hit the system I wonder?

Amidon-Bowen dodged a bullet. I was sure they would close. I think the only reason they didn't is there isn't another elementary school close by (the Hill schools don't have that much space, Van Ness isn't opening any time soon, and Thompson is pretty far away).

This should be great news for Ross. Although I it's not stated in the report, it would make since for the school to now feed into Hardy. Feeding into Shaw was holding it back.

PP here. Didn't mean to jump the gun. The few IB families who don't want the bilingual program at Reed (that was a surprise) might be able to transfer to Hyde if they have proximity. It wouldn't be a tsunami of out of boundary. Reed seems pretty far from West End/Dupont.

There are only about 100 students at MacFarland.

They are going to Hardy.

Which feeds into Deal. It's a win win I guess.

No Deal and Hardy are both middle schools so one cannot act as a feeder to the other. They both feed into Wilson.

Francis-Stevens has 200 kids in PS to 8 with 24% in boundary. It will feed to Hyde-Addison. Ross will take over Garrison space.

Where are you getting your info? I saw in a press release that FS would feed to Marie Reed and Hardy.
