Francis-Stevens Education Campus Beginning in August 2013, assign the elementary students from Francis-Stevens EC and its boundary to Marie Reed Elementary School. Rationale for Consolidating Francis-Stevens: •Francis-Stevens EC is extremely under-enrolled with only 225 students across 11 grades. •The school is utilizing only 55 percent of the building. •More than 75 percent of students come from other neighborhoods, outside of the boundary. •Francis-Stevens EC cannot support a full PS–8 program with so few students. •Both Marie Reed ES and Hardy MS have capacity to serve additional students.
