Chefs/Tv-food Personalities you hate??

I like Ina garten's recipes and show, but agree that she can be annoying.

Also like giada's recipes, but the way that she takes half a teaspoon / bite of something and then tries to stretch the moment when it is in her mouth reminds me of myself when I was on a super strict dieting in college and close to anorexia.

Don't know who it was, but tuned to apt he food network when they had a show with cooks making spthongs with their children, and there was a blonde woman who kept giggling unnaturally throughout their cooking. Shudder just remembering those empty fake giggles!

Yes, and Sandra lee is soooo annoying!

I think most of them put on airs, would be much nicer if they didn't.

What's a spthong?

Bobby Flay

Guy whatever his last name is

Paul Deen - and worse when she has her kids on and their whole family trying to spin the fact that she now has diabetes as some ok thing because now she can cook better recipes and be annoying.

Does anyone watch any of the shows that are hosted by the previous winners of the 'Food Network Star'? I liked them all when I was watching the actual competition show but have not liked or bothered to watch any of there actual shows.

Yeah, those two Gomers are morons.

Yes, what happened to "The Sandwich King" ? And that hipster who won this season is going to get tiresome quickly.

I detest Ina Garten ever since I found out she declined a Make a Wish kid, not once, but twice. That's just cold for someone who has the time to plan garden warming parties.

So agree. Jacques' daughter is just the worst.

Anonymous wrote:I LOVE Jacques Pepin. He is like a kindly French grandfather who happens to make scrumptious food. He makes it look so easy and is not an elitist at all about ingredients. I do find his daughter Claudine slightly annoying though.

You know who really annoys me? Christopher Kimball, that tall bowtied geek host on America's Test Kitchen (the TV version of Cook's Illustrated). I hate the way he says "mmm" when tasting something.

Is he the guy with blonde hair? Yeah, he's freakin' annoying and comes off as a complete ass with something huge stuck up his.

The hair that he has is kind of reddish, although there's not much of it. He is tall, wears a bowtie and has glasses. I do like the women on the show however.

It looks brown, maybe he dyes it. But yeah it's him for sure.

Ugh! "Mmm" means he hates it. After cooking one or two of the "mmm" recipes I discovered that it's code for sucks. He's just a pompous ass. I stopped watching after he came on wearing a sombrero.

I was so glad that Art Smith was cut from Top Chef Masters this week. I couldn't take much more of his phony passive-aggressive attitude.

I do enjoy Melissa D'Arabian's show and recipes. I've watched all the Next Food Network Star seaons since the seaon Guy won, but I find that, except for Melissa, I enjoy the competition more than the resulting shows.

Giada! I hate the way she makes all these fatty foods then pretends to eat them. Can one or two bites really be that satisfying?

4 pages and nobody mention Emeril LaAss?

I hatehatehate him. So self absorbed and in love with himself. And his cooking (at least on the show) is for people that can't boil water. He heats oil, throws in chopped garlic, and the studio audience claps and ooohs like he just created a life size sculpture of David out of foie gras. Blech.

Also loathe Rachel Ray and her "delish". Every time I hear that phrase now, I want to punch the person in the tastebuds.

Oh wow, I'm gonna go have some wine now.

I don't find Emeril to be as annoying as he was in the beginning. I kinds liked his Emeril Green show.

I do like Alton Brown. I love how he breaks it down to a science. This appeal to the geek in me.

I like Tyler Florence. He's chunked up a bit since he's been married but I still think he's adorable. And he does the Sprout baby food. My son loved that stuff. Everything else was so watered down and the Sprout line had such variety.

The judge with the white-ish hair on Chopped. I have no idea what his name is but he is snobby and never says anything constructive or helpful.

Rachel ray..she's obnoxious and her food just doesn't appeal to me. I agree about the Neelys. They seem soooo fake!!
