Chefs/Tv-food Personalities you hate??

Just a fun survey! For me,Rhee Drummond. Her recipes are not authentic. Something about the commentary really pisses me off. Next?

I love Gordon Ramsey.

We don't have cable, so I can't comment on any of the chefs from those shows.

Barefoot Contessa sometimes seems annoying. And Jacque Peppin's middle aged kid who did shows with him.

Paula deen, drippingly sweet and really plays up the southern drawl y'all but he food looks good

Anne Burrell Just find her lacking warmth and full of ego.

Me too. Really miss Nigella Lawson. Loved her.

Barefoot contessa's recipes are actually pretty good. She is like the Jewish North Eastern version of Paula Deen. But what bugs me about her is that she doesn't realize her audience isn't bagillionairs like her. The perfect lunch for a dock picnic? Come on. I'd love to have the perfect menu for lunch beside a yacht, but not applicable to my life. A "garden warming" party? Really? The only garden unveiling that would go on at my house would be if I brought home a pot of flowers from Home Depot.

Giadia. Firstly, she is named after a disease. Secondly, what is the deal with her huge head and tiny body?

Rachel Ray! She drives me bonkers with her yum-o and EVOO. Worse, I like her recipes as they are simple and quick. So I end up supporting someone who drives me nuts!

As an entertainer and educator I love Alton Brown, but his recipes are a) expensive and b) frequently don't work.

I don't like any of the cooking competition shows either. Just don't like the format.

Loved Nigella-down to Earth. Beautiful. Enjoys life.

My brother met Giada. Said she seemed very nice.

Dislike:
Ina (snooyt!) But love her house/food.
Alton (pompous)
Bobby Flay (cocky)

I also like Tyler Florence and Guy!

Nigella is not as down to earth as you would believe. Every shot in her shows is designed to hide her booty. She fires any director or cameraman that dares to show it. Watch and you will see what I mean.

Her large booty is her dirty little secret.

Personally, I would do the same thing if I were her. And as a viewer, I'm not there to see her behind so I appreciate that she is meticulous about presenting a nice image. It's TV for goodness sake. If I wanted to see a bunch of jiggling, I'd watch Honey Boo Boo.

I love Ina's recipes, approach to cooking and entertaining, etc. but I agree with you on this, it is annoying. Also, during an episode when she cooked for her fortieth (I think) wedding anniversary, she talked about how people ask her to share the secret to a long marriage, and whether it is hard work, and she said she finds those questions baffling because being with Jeffrey is joy, they delight in one another, blah blah, nothing about it is work at all, how could it possibly be...

Put simply this infuriated me. I could write six paragraphs but I won't.
