How can any woman vote for Romney/Ryan?

Oh wait, his top concern WASN'T the economy? He was willing to die for his LIBERTY? Well fellas that's how I feel, and many women like me feel, about a party that wants to govern our bodies. Everything else comes second.

Get your representatives to get off the sex stuff and win more votes.

Yep, pretty much this. A vote for them is a rubber stamp for their social beliefs and I will NEVER give them that.

Whoa...good for you, PPs. I felt that strongly when I was younger. Now, "it's the economy, stupid."

I am 7:36 and I want to add it is insulting to claim the war on women only involves policy about reproduction. The War on Women is being conducted by people who do not respect the fact that people support different candidates. I have been a pro-choice Republican my entire life. I do not like being told there is a war on everything that is surrounding me and in me in order to vote for a man who campaigned against war and certainly couldn't win one.

The only job growth in the Bush II economy was in state/local government.

Ryan's budget plan advocates taking non-entitlement/non-defense spending to levels of GDP not seen in some 70 years.

Do you have daughters???

It doesn't matter to me how good the economy is if I cannot fully participate in it as a free person. If I am forced to stay pregnant, or forced to feed/house/provide or pay for care for another child, it limits my ability to fully participate in this dream economy of yours. I'm not a big "equal pay" person but one could argue that if the economy discriminates against me, subtly or directly, for being female, for being pregnant, for needing maternity time off or for being a mother, then I am also not free to participate fully in your economy.

If the government passes laws govering my body then I am little better than another piece of property being passed around in this economy.

I'm not willing to condenm my daughter or anyone else's to a life of poverty, a life as a second class citizen, if she makes a mistake and gets knocked up, or if (god forbid) she is a victim of legitimate rape.

And I don't think for one second that these old, white men are unaware of the disadvantage they are placing women at when they make us bear the costs of parenting. I think it's one more way for the white male to maintain his supremacy.

So in a way you are right, it IS the economy, stupid.

Hey, if we want to get all jingoistic on here..

Obama: Made the call to kill bin Laden
Bush: Had 7 years direct intelligence agencies to find/kill bin Laden. Didn't do it.

Obama: In Libya, the dictator was overthrown/found/killed in months, at a cost of less than a billion dollars, and there's way less sectarian strife there than there was in Iraq in 2004. The Arab Spring occurred under his watch.
Bush: Iraq.

Obama: Got us out of Iraq within two years and Afghanistan within four years.
Bush: Took us four years to come up with anything resembling a winning strategy in Iraq (the surge) and ignored Afghanistan.

Foreign policy isn't the road to go on against Obama, he is the best we've had since Bush I and before than Nixon.

The economy under Bush II was based on a bubble of municipal government hiring and real estate. Those broke. Romney cutting taxes another point or two isn't going to solve squat.

Voting for a republican is like letting your dog drive you car. The republicans just are not ale to understand how to run an economy or this country, just like a dog can not drive a car.

Why don't you compare the number of Americans killed defeating Qaddafi to the number of Americans killed in Bush's invasion of Iraq. Then, let's have a discussion about who is capable of winning a war.

Bush said he didn't care very much about OBL. Romney said, "It’s Not Worth Moving Heaven And Earth And Spending Billions Of Dollars Just Trying To Catch One Person."

When Obama said that if he had actionable intelligence about the location of OBL, he would deploy forces to an allied country to attack him, Romney said, "I Do Not Concur In The Words Of Barack Obama To Enter An Ally Of Ours."

Yeah, Obama didn't win that one, did he?

As usual, you are an idiot. You think because you aren't aware of any abuse or infidelity within those marriages that that equals pro-woman? Sweety every bastion of patriarchy is pro-woman - as long as the woman keeps her place, holds her tongue, and in general is a good, dependent breeder.

you sound bitter and lonely

Actually I love men and I get plenty of action. I love men who know their place. Which is equal to women, not in charge of them.

The last time I looked at the financial picture of the US-it had nothing to do with anti-women or pro-men

Are you living in iran , no one is taking away or wants to be involved with your vagina. you are very obsessed to think the world rotates around your vagina.

You are a simpleton that cannot see around your vagina and can't see or understanding bigger and more crucial issues that really exist.

They got lucky on that very lucky and they know it and so do you. None of the past presidents could catch him, not one would give one credit for getting it done.

Why would anyone vote democrat and risk going to hell?

Romney personally is not looking to make changes to national abortion law. A constitutional amendment outlawing all abortion will never pass.

I can vote for Romney because I care about the other issues and I do not expect any real change in abortion laws to happen under him.

The next president will no doubt select a minimum of two new justices for the SCt. There are two liberal judges pushing close to 80.
