Seriously. I seriously want to know for what reason(s) a woman would vote for these people. Thanks in advance. |
How could ANYONE (male/female) vote R/R?! |
because we vote on different issues... |
Yes, I see your point, but I wanted to ask for women especially, since the candidates' platform is so anti-woman in particular. Even if one is pro-life, how can a woman ignore the other anti-woman elements? |
Which issues? Is it because the women supporters are pro-life, and this issue is so important to them that they are willing to live with some of the other anti-woman stuff that R/R stand for? |
There is nothing that trumps (no pun intended) the hot button issues of pro life and anti gay marriage. The Evangelical middle America female has demonstrated their irrational beliefs by continuing to support Aiken |
There is a no-longer-so-fringe group of Republicans that basically wants to take away my right to bodily integrity as it pertains to one of the most intimate areas of my life. Every election, these yahoos get bolder and more demanding. They want their version of religion to be the nation's religion. Oh, and lower taxes for the super wealthy while we middle class people get our taxes raised, and make sure there aren't any restrictions on businesses, ever (except Planned Parenthood. I'm surprised they haven't passed a bill regarding the interior decoration required to sooth all the feeble lady brains who have appointments there). Modern republicans are fascists. How the remaining seven rational republicans can just watch their formerly fairly sensible party slide into crazy town, I don't understand. |
I am a proud supporter and can't wait to vote in Nov. I am pro-life and don't find their platform anti-woman. Actually abortion doesn't even rank in my top 5 issues I am most concerned about.
Economy Debt Jobs School choice Repeal of Obamacare I have others but those are my big ones. |
No snark intended - can you point to any ACTUAL policy positions from your candidates? If they have them they sure aren't talking about them. |
+1 Obama had his chance. He failed. |
I think Paul Ryan and Akin are facsists. It's very scary stuff. Just think if Paul Ryan became president. It's just as scary as Palin in the last election.
The middle class has to stop being so passive. We're letting the crazies grab the power. |
My reasons...
Smaller govt Less regulation on small businesses Lower taxes Restore USA as a world leader and I agree with American exceptionalism... There is no moral equivelency between USA and some other countries. Enforcement of our immigration laws No selection by the Admin or Justice Dept on which laws will be upheld. Someone who can govern with help from across the isle ( romney has a history of governing in a liberal state) I am pro choice and pretty middle of the road on social issues but I dont vote on those issues. Neither party has everything I support so I am picking the one that has the most |
Well, roughly half the country is planning to vote for him, and he's more personally popular than Mitt, who has not just a woman problem but an Hispanic problem. So......yeah. Your opinion. |
Did you miss the memo about the record number of deportations under Obama, and hus MANY, MANY foreign policy wins? |
The party platform is different from Romney's views and Ryan has said he will support what Romney chooses, not that Ryan has a choice.
Romney personally is not looking to make changes to national abortion law. A constitutional amendment outlawing all abortion will never pass. I can vote for Romney because I care about the other issues and I do not expect any real change in abortion laws to happen under him. |
