Great to hear, yet again.

On the plus column, Chesterbrook has nice houses, a great community pool, and few, if any, chain link fences and homes with multiple pick-up trucks in the driveway.

Again you must be trapped in the 80s

Don't think so, but you seem to have stumbled by mistake into a thread that's not about Pimmit Hills. You should start a new thread if you think sidewalks, cheap teardowns, and neighbors with chain-link fences deserve another shout-out.

Sorry but I am in McLean and love my sidewalks. No sidewalks was a major turn off about chesterbrook. If pimmit hills civic got it's act together to put in sidewalks 40 years a go why can't chesterbrook do the same?

PP, that is the dumbest screen capture ever. You can set an app like Weather Bug to the North Pole, but that doesn't make you Santa Claus.

Why does every Mclean thread have to turn into a Pimmit Hills fight?

We want to live here some day.

Oh my god, hate to be pretentious here, but Pimmit Hills is Falls Church, crazy Pimmit Hills lady. Like, the other side of the tracks. Sorry to be so blunt. Sorry, really, but please stop posting here. Thanks.

There is a marshall hater that seems to disguise and fabricate anything positive towards places besides Madison or mclean as crazy. A mclean resident mentioned pimmit hills because the entire neighborhood hassidewalks vs many parts of McLean that doesn't. As someone who petitioned to get sidewalks installed years a go the biggest barrier to having sidewalks installed are funding and neighbors not willing to give up their front yard.easement

Actually my kids are zoned for McLean and I attended a different school in Fairfax/Annandale.

So much unnecessary drama. If you want to send your kids to Marshall, you can live in less expensive areas than Chesterbrook. You may even get sidewalks if you buy in Pimmit Hills. Pimmit Hills and Chesterbrook appeal to very different tastes.

I think it is more very different pocketbooks than very different tastes.
