Want to buy myself a splurge gift

Sour grapes much? The grey outfit is gorgeous.

Wow, those TB pants have to be the least attractive clothing I've seen in a long time.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Of course expensive marketing helps develop ones sense of beauty.

I agree but I still wish I could afford the grey outfit

Fit, feel, drape, fabric, construction
St. Johns clothing is classic so you can wear their stuff for years. It lasts well, stays in style and the fit and drape are perfect. I don't mind spending more on their stuff. That grey outfit makes me feel like a million bucks. The Tory Burch pants I did waver a bit as they are trendier but they are beautifully made.

I bet they feel great and make you feel great as well. For me personally, I can't justify spending the money, I SAH and do not have anywhere to go wearing $250 pants. Maybe once I get back into the working world, I could do it. I do really like the grey outfit.

Not to sound stupid, but what's with the multiple Olney postings?

I don't get it either, I think I'm missing something.

I kind of like cropped pants. I wear them to work.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the multiple Olney postings refer to the Pandora bracelet comment. Meaning mostly women in Olney/Gaithersburg wear the Pandora bracelet???? I'm just guessing.

Agree, if I SAH I wouldn't either. My work situation is such that I have to maintain a certain appearance.

Maybe you are right. I live in Friendship Heights and I wear a Pandora. I got my Mom one for Mother's Day.
If anyone can explain love to know.

What do you do? If I showed up in $250+ pants, I might be investigated for embezzlement.

I thought that was what it meant, but I'm wondering where in Gaithersburg...maybe Kentlands? Cause where I live, folks aren't affording Tiffany and Pandora, even though it's too "cheap" and "ghetto" for folks like our expensive pants poster. That's why we live in Gaithersburg!

But if I had $500 to splurge, I'd do a spa day. We have an iPad, and honestly, I barely use it. It's just not that exciting.
