Agreed. If the OP can't actually even think of something that she wants, it sounds like she's just looking to buy something for the sake of it. It probably won't make her feel tons better anyway.
She said it was a splurge gift. I think she was upfront about what she wants.

$250/pair is NOT CHEAP, lady.

But not really expensive either. Kinda middle of the road if you're used to buying nice clothes. Pants just didn't seem very special.
