Oh, no. He's a northern racist. |
| It does sound sexist and racist. But it sounds like he's stupid above all else. Stupid people should not represent the masses. Next number please. |
| He's pathetic and has now made an idiot of himself - as well as called attention to his "chinz issue". he's probably calling plastic surgeons as we speak. |

Michelle Obama is gorgeous. She's authentic, she's principled, a great mother, a hard-worker, and someone who came from modest means and made her own way in the world. She truly represents what's great about this country. Unfortunately, we have a long way to go. Imagine for a moment, if Obama had been married three times, was banging a staffer while married or if one of his daughters had an oops! pregnancy in high school. Can you imagine if an African-American presidential candidate carried that baggage? How far would he go?
So proud to live in a country that elected Obama, in spite of the idiots and half-wits that keep trying to bring him down. |
What is a northern racist? I'm actually curious because I'm from Wisconsin and don't have any racist relatives. Please enlighten me with your personal experience. |
Really, racism in the north is new to you? Racism in Wisconsin is news to you? Cue the eyeroll

Actually I was just trying to figure out if northern racism was some unique hybrid specific to Wisconsin only. I always thought racism was racism.... |
A northern racist is a racist individual from the northern part of the US. In fact, a person with racist views can hail from any part of our country. So happy for you that you don't have any relatives who are racist. |
I did as well; however, after reading DCUM posts for awhile, I've learned that one needs to place the adjective "southern" or "northern" to make a distinction. |
I agree with all that you've said about Michelle Obama. FWIW, I'm a southern, fairly conservative voter and an over-fifty DCUM poster. |
Some cross my mind: Phoenicians, Greeks (creators of democracy and philosophy), Egyptians, Arabs, Romans, Chinese, Portugal/Spain, Great Britain - to name a few. All of which were great and powerful at one point. Yes, I agree that the U.S is the superpower of the moment, but it is just a cycle. |
Kinda like Illinois Nazis? I hate Illinois Nazis. <Sigh> RIP, Joliet Jake. We're on a misssion from God. |

Michelle looks utterly beautiful in that photo. I am a black woman who has previously posted that I think she shows too much arm and shoulder but dresses quite stylishly. I estimate her size to be 12. She is quite fit. I think eating healthy food most of the time is a good goal. A cheeseburger once a week is fine but not every day.
She probably works out more than we sedentary people can imagine. I am smaller than she is but would take her figure -- big butt and all -- any day (unless I actually manage to lose the last 15 pounds this year; then I want to be me)! |
+2. Love him. Get ready for 4 more years. |

Michelle Obama is a smart, confident GORGEOUS woman. Any comments about how she looks -and this would go for any first lady, first family, first dude, etc.- are out of bounds. Regardless of what you think of the individual's politics (which are fair, imo).
The original comments are sexist plain and simple and continue to show there is a double standard in this country for how men and women are judged. Especially with regards to looks. And, that's sad. |
