Hi- I am the poster who is frightened about what’s to come. Thank you for the question. I have seen one raid in front of an apartment building and seen videos of 2 other raids, and the videos were blocks away from my apartment. It is sickening.

I posted on the other page that I wasn't a huge Bowser fan, but she really did well with Trump by not inflaming him -- which protected all of us. That's exactly what Mamdani has done.

You all realize that this was just a primary right? There will be other candidates to vote for in November. Not saying they will win, but sooner or later DC will have to figure out how to mobilize a 2nd party.

We know what the guy in the WH thinks of us and we have seen what he can do to us for even a little paint on the street.

We know what he is capable of because we have seen it. We are not Minneapolis - we don’t have a state. We are not Chicago - we don’t have a state.

Why, why, why would you want to poke the bear, especially now when the “bear” is limping along injured. There is nothing more dangerous.

But maybe you don’t care about your neighbors being scooped up? Or maybe you think JLG will be less antagonistic?

It's funny that JLG championed soft-on-crime policies that led to a really nutso explosion in crime in the city....

....and then that led to Trump commandeering the DC police force and putting troops on every corner, and that led to a precipitous drop in crime, but also pissed everyone off....

....and then JLG used that widespread antipathy towards Trump to get herself a promotion....

....which she will no doubt now use to revive her pro-criminal policies, which will mean crime will soar once againn....
