It feels like DC has been in a downward spiral ever since the pandemic, and that will probably only accelerate with her (or him) in charge. |
Oh, these people are not leaving. Just changing primary residence. And again, if you don't understand the difference, that's a problem for people like you and JG. |
Yea, well, good luck with actually proving that you really spend the bulk of your time in your bullshit second home. Because DC will check . . . |
Sure they will. In about 2050. |
See my last post. If you dont understand that you can’t just SAY you moved without actually moving that’s the difference between people like you and McFuffie |
You’re very wrong about this. You’ll see. |

JG is not Mamdani. Her message is 100 percent anti status quo and deliberately “look at me, look at me” to DJT. THat look at me attitude puts a target on the backs of so many of our neighbors. Many of us have seen - first hand or by video - the early bone chilling ICE raids in DC. She doesn’t seem to care or maybe she doesn’t know (which is in itself a HUGE problem ) that the “look at me” attitude is going to hurt a lot of people in DC, directly and in the most meaningful way. I feel sick to my stomach about what I fear will come.
I hope and pray I am wrong. |
OP needs to realize that avoiding the evil doesn’t get rid of the evil and that it will just grow. |
| PP, please explain what you mean? |
With their crack team of Ivy League educated public sector employees presumably! |
What’s it like being racist in the Chocolate City? Why do you choose to live here? |
Yeah, all my neighbors were promoting McDuffie here in Ward 3. I voted for JLG, personally. PP saying they’re going to move is hilarious. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. |
Curious if this poster ever witnessed one of these incidents in person. |
DP, but I have. So have my kids, more than once. And I get the GoFundMe requests for school families that had their primary breadwinner picked up, and my kids hear about it from the kids in those families. I think this election had no good choice, but I’m terrified that JLG is going to poke the bear and call it a win while ignoring the impact on the most vulnerable populations in our city. |
Not really racist to point out that relatively few smart, ambitious people strive to become government bureaucrats. |
