So in a few weeks? because looking at the weather forecast it is not going above freezing anytime soon and VDOT is not going around doing nay additional plowing. |
You should do, if not .. your kids will not recognize shape and alphabet anymore and chance for Harvard will greatly diminished. |
Get ready for it then. The district isn't staying closed until March, which is when this substantively melts away. |
| Allow students who want an education to attend school. Those who choose otherwise can remain home until conditions are fully clear. Seniors deserve to return to school, and we must not repeat the errors made in 2020. Enough is enough. |
| Nothing will change between today and tomorrow. I predict closure again. FCPS is excellent at not providing education. |
| Emailed this to the school board AND CC Ms.NATO "Allow students who want an education to attend school. Those who choose otherwise can remain home until conditions are fully clear. Seniors deserve to return to school, and we must not repeat the errors made in 2020. Enough is enough." |
This is not the same as 2020. That was manipulated by the Teachers' union---especially Randi Weingarten. This really is a matter of logistics and safety. |
If we want to play that game we won't reopen till APRIL |
| I get why they closed today. But nothing is going to improve by tomorrow or really at all this week |
| Why aren’t we doing virtual? |
|
So is Reid a strong enough voice to get VDOT to come back out and clean-up the feeder streets, the turn lanes, "common area" sidewalks , intersection sidewalks so kids can cross (or at least reach the "push"button)?

| All the parents I've spoken too agree, they want the schools closed until it's safe to open. Probably around Thursday. It's a joy to spend time together as a family, enjoy these times. Soon they'll be out of school. |
You are ao full of it. |
Yes, our school was cleared out like this yesterday with several backhoes. |
Uh huh. Go for a drive. What you see today is what you'll see on Thursday...and next Thursday. Schools can't wait for the great melt. |
