Yes! NW is about $4.4 million. Includes home, but I live in a condo that doesn't have a whole lot of equity, so NW is still over $4 million without it. Includes both spouses, ages 43/44.
Not sure when we hit over $1 million. Between the market and increases in our income, our NW has increased a lot in the past 5 years. We have not increased our spending much as income increased. Live in the condo with low mortgage payment, own 1 sedan for the two of us. |
| NW is a little over $3million but half of that is my house which is paid off. Early 40s, but still have ways to go because need to put kids through college; grandparent says they will help pay what we can’t but that isn’t set in stone. Will likely inherit several million but you never know, and I hope it’s not for a long time because I prefer my parent is here with me. |
| No and most likely never will. Teacher, single parent of a college student. |

| Yes but we both have been maxing out our 401ks since we started working at age 22 so we benefitted from some very good years. |
| Hit $1m in invested assets in my late 30s. (Before meeting DH.) |
| I’m 33 and my husband and I are at $775K NW - really hoping to get to $1M by 35! Sometimes I feel behind compared to people on here. |
A lot of posters here are nothing but fictional characters. |

Late 50s, retired, $3 million in brokerage and retirement accounts, $1.2 million house paid off, health care covered by previous employer., also a very small pension, think $1k/ month (covers property taxes). Happy
Hit $1 million in early 40s I think, could have been late 30s, don't actually remember |
| 44 - NW of $6 million. Hit $1 million at like age 36. |
| 48 currently. Was 39 when I hit a million. Networth of 3.4 million which includes home equity of 300k on a home purchased for 450k and worth around 700k now. |

It's easier to be a millionaire when you are married. Take Roth for instance, 2 people are eligible to invest more than 1 person

| I urge everyone to Google the share of Millionaires in the DMV. This thread makes it seems like every other person is a millionaire in the DMV lol. |
