Are you a millionaire?

PPl should also have to say whether they inherited any money.

Well, I think it would be perfectly fine to ask for downpayment help if you want to buy a home. The worst he can do is say no.

I wouldn't be able to afford a mortgage plus HOA or TIC fees plus insurance on a monthly basis, even for a 1 bed condo.

Yes. NW is 40+M, not including real estate (including DH). No inheritance. I'm guessing millionaires by mid 30s. We're in our mid/late 50s now.

Age you hit $1 million net worth
Liquid or includes house
Are you including you and spouse?

Current age: mid-40s
Age hit $1M NW: 32,
At that time, including our house. Now, liquid around $5M.
Including my spouse, but would still be liquid in this category on my own.

Yes over $15M. Mostly inherited. I made $1M on my stocks in the last two weeks, which is pretty surreal.

Everyone needs a place to live. Your real estate counts.

And I think you're wrong.

Wife and I crossed 1m combined in July 2021 (around 41/42 for us but we had law school loans), 2m in mid/late 2024, and at this growth rate, will hit 3m around Jan 2028. No inheritances yet. Like many say, once you hit the first million it grows pretty quickly!
