DP here. I have teens and hope we are closed too, for as long as possible. But I remember having little ones and feeling differently.

No. My high achieving teens need a break. We are in LCPS and they don’t do exams. AP teachers intentionally build in snow days to their pacing of content. A week off would be welcome to everyone. It’s also the beginning of our 3rd quarter (2nd Q ends this Thursday before the storm) so it’s actually great timing and likely to influence the decision in favor of closure.

+1 snow days are one of the great joys of kid life. Let them have a break.

Likely not. It’s looking in the ballpark of 8-12”. 2 feet would be a boom scenario.

Doug K, who won't forecast until tomorrow, has at least said whatever it is, it will come as snow.
