When is this storm predicted to start? I can’t find anything online re beginning time. I’m trying to figure out if we can still do our schedule day trip on Saturday to Charlottesville. SOS.

At this point, looks like Saturday night. Looks substantial, and extremely cold. If you go, prepare to be stuck there and hope pipes don’t freeze.

Looks like it would hit our area in the early afternoon on Saturday and then continue through Sunday. The storm may start causing flight disruptions late Friday night as it develops in Texas.

Oh man. We are trying to make the 2pm UVA basketball game. I know it seems silly to be stressed about it. I guess we will play it by ear and be prepared to possibly just watch it from our couch.

You don’t care about what they’re missing at school? In FCPS we would miss the last few days of the semester when they have to finish their exams.

I would also like more accuracy as we track this. My elderly father has to get to the hospital and I don't want him trying to clear his car or god forbid try to shovel. Is the snow coming on Saturday?
