Anecdotal, but I'm hearing the ED results are worse this year across the board.

This was how 2024 was.

Yes for Emory

Up 8%, also caliber of student seems stronger, either that or they're just going for higher stats.

How so?

Princeton is the only Ivy that’s announced.

Our private seems to be having a great year so far.

Ours too.

I had a kid in class of 25 and now in class of 26 and, so far, pretty similar. Princeton was and is again really rough. They deny so many. But good news from Georgetown, bc, middlebury, Pomona, emory, all those, We'll see what next week brings.

Anecdotal, but my DS has several friends who have ED acceptances. NYU, Princeton, Wellesley, two from Chicago, and two from Williams. He hears from Carleton tomorrow. If anyone was deferred or rejected, they aren't sharing that info.

Seems to be going quite well so far at our Bay Area public school. Multiple Chicago, NYU, Emory, USC, Stanford. I heard of only a deferral at Princeton but REA there appears to be exceptionally tough. We’ll see what happens this week!
Anonymous
Our public doing as usual. Kids getting deferred from Princeton. In at places like CMU and Middlebury unhooked with average stats.
