Most EDs are not out yet.
The OP seems to be sh!+ posting. |
| Anecdotal stories from your own perspective and narrow lens of the world are just that. No way to tell the wider trends until the dust settles more and actual data is shared. |
| Yeah, schools are going to take the same number or even more kids ED than in prior years. I suppose the results could be worse if more kids applied ED and the ED acceptance rate goes down, but no way to know that yet from a few anecdotes. |
“Good schools”. Hahahaha |
| Literally every year that I have been on DCUM, which is much longer than I will admit, someone has started this exact thread. |
| Application volume is being reported up at a lot of schools so far that have released info. |
Yes for Emory |
| Now that more schools are yes required, kids are going to flock to TO schools which might make it seem worse. |

Why? |
some of us got a heads up from the counselors about decisions coming up ... so title is true for us unfortunately! |
| 2026 seems to be worse than 2025 cycle. A lot of early indicators out there. |
| Great year for our private so far! |
Oh god, please don’t say that. |
