Demographically, things should start getting easier with this graduating class. Add the reduction of foreign students and the reduction of aid keeping out some international and poor students, your chances of admission have improved, I don't know why the improvement would be particularly concentrated in early decision at the most selective colleges.

Nope. It's next year's class (current juniors) that will reap the reward of a big drop off in applicants.
