This club has a great facility. I'm trying to think of some other positives to say. The own soccer balls?

They have a bar and you can get faded during the day - another legacy perk from Mr. OneFamily

Did all the GA coaches get fired yet?

If the club was a serious org they’d be out before the end of the year. However, it’s a
for-profit “club”, so it’s safe to say everyone knows the answer to your rhetorical question unfortunately.

Did anyone identify which coach is coaching while intoxicated?

Anonymous wrote:Rev parent here. Couple points. Club def took a “if you build it, they will come” approach to the whole program. Half the coaches are solid, the other half need to go. Def favoring the boys right now. Girls teams almost never see Field 1 with the nice stands & snack bar. When leadership has their own boys in the program, it creates an obvious conflict of interest. CC clearly has plans in place for growth (better futsal program this winter, Super Y coming, doing something with the extra land there, etc. But having him coach teams doesn’t help with his time management skills in my opinion. With the ongoing mess in GFR the club may stand to benefit from coaches & players heading that way next year. But def need to clean house of some coaches to advance the program and avoid kids jumping to best geographic rival - LS/NVA. Parents notice the coaching issues there. Just my two cents.

I am a Rev parent too and my son’s team (MLS Academy) never played on field 1 once this fall, and the boys have felt the favoritism has been all to the GA teams. So, it is interesting how things are viewed.

We have been here for several years and yes the old days of the small club was fun but things are better now than 1 or 2 years ago. Some coaches that needed to go have and few more could do the same. I see things improving even with the drama of this year.

No GA teams either.. I see DC United playing on field 1 a lot

It’s a family thing. We played against their young boys teams this season and some parents were faded early morning. To say that club is Toxic would be an understatement. No pun intended.

Us either, seems the Rev is more interested in their name and reputation than my kids soccer development. Time to move on, club is in shambles.

I’ve heard the 2013 GA coach is out for the spring season. Can anyone confirm? Has his replacement been named?
