C'mon. I'm all for putting some responsibility on the STJ coaches, but all of the talent left STJ a couple of years ago. Anyone who did any research could find out that STJ was on the fritz and still chose to go there because it got their kid a GA badge, regardless of the quality of the talent around them. From an STJ perspective, they needed players so they took the talent that was available. You can put some of it on coaches, but you still need GA-level talent up and down across the age groups to go execute the coach's strategy. To blame STJ's recent downfall 100% on the coaches and make an assumption that they can't do better at Rev with better talent would be a mistake. |
Marginally, at best. |
that dude knows little if any about soccer. He was a sideline yelling dad when he’s daughter played. His daughter was a ok player, but not as good as he thought. Got frustrated and decided to coach. He should of never been hired by valor. But valor is a crap club. Its CYA V2 |
Hol up! His name is Rufus?? I'm assuming his brother is named Jasper and his sister is Lyla Mae? |
Sure is, you all related? |
He actually coached rec, then moved up to travel, then was a sideline complainer. Valor LOVES to hire parent coaches b/c its easy and they don't care about their low level teams. I think the story is they decided not to renew his contract for the next year and he just stopped showing up for games and practices. |
He left MID-PRACTICE after telling his team (which he had already destroyed) that he wouldn't be coaching them any longer. There were 3 games left in the season. I can't believe that the hiring group didn't see the fact that this will be his fourth club in three years as a GIANT red flag. |
What does this say about Rev? What level team is he coaching next year? |
| There are more coaches out at Rev mid season so I am sure they are probably hiring any that applies at this point. They have a lot of holes to fill. I’m not sure what’s going on at this club anymore. |

The newly hired TSJ personnel is inundating the ranks with their friends and family...
All while Loudoun and Rev are fighting over the same group of girls. |
This is so funny. I know at least two other dads who ended up as the coach of a Valor team after being fed up with what they were seeing. I guess it’s a pattern with them! One of the dad coaches is still there and is a truly horrible person. |
| Will Rev have GA teams and Aspire teams for 2012/2011s for the 26/27 season? |
|
Rev will have GA1 and Aspire and the number of high quality girls who have already committed to Rev is going to surprise a lot of people.
From my perspective as a parent at the club, we are seeing real improvements — higher quality training, better organized practices, strong college recruitment support, and coaches who actually want to win. Wanting to win and push players to be better is not a negative thing. If you’re unhappy, that’s okay, every club isn’t for everyone. But from what we are experiencing firsthand, Rev is moving in the right direction. If you have questions, talk to current GA parents directly. I’m happy to connect you with families so you can hear from people who are actually in it. I would also encourage parents not to rely on anonymous chats for major decisions. A lot of the noise is coming from people who either didn’t receive an offer or are no longer with the club. That perspective isn’t always balanced. And for Aspire parents who feel their child deserves an opportunity, the best advice is simple: development and work ethic matter. Encourage your player to compete, improve, and outshine at tryouts. That’s how opportunities are earned. At the end of the day, we all want what’s best for our kids. |
lmao like he cares, he was filmed by a private investigator bending moms at the bar when they thought nobody was on the premises |
Rev will be the top GA draw for players in the area because it’s the only club that is in Champions Cup, which gets them the top two showcase events that the other local GA teams don’t have like the Florida event next week. |
