Here we go. |
If you think “making life miserable for liberals” is a legitimate government goal I don’t know what to tell you. That’s so sad. Everything about this moment is pathetic and sad. |
Plus, many of Trump’s core constituencies of selfish idiots are getting hammered by Trump’s policies. |
The MIDWEST? Oh no!!!! |
They are getting hammered worse than the liberals they hate. |
|
Dems have to win 2 third of Senate (not gonna happen, thanks to compromises made with Slave states 250 years ago), impeach and convict Trump and JD, then install the Speaker of the House as President, while avoiding a backlash 2 years later.
Not gonna happen at midterms. At best, impeach and convict and let less extreme Republicans take the wheel. |
They take it as "whatever it takes" attitude. Stupid? Maybe. But they are certainly more unified than the other side. |
They were all slave states 250 years ago. |
|
No signs that Dems will win the house or senate. Republicans are likely to pick
Up seats in both |
If by "enforced civil rights" you mean "discriminated on the basis of race," that is what they did, yes. You are correct. US Dept of Ed was in fact racist. |
| Unfortunately I don’t think so. And republicans will probably win midterms. |
+1 Dems have learned nothing from losses and keep forging ahead with blinders on. I actually think it will be a blowout. Voters actually do want immigration enforcement and don’t support absurd fringe groups like gays for Palestine and trans kid surgeries. The democrats martyring themselves on these issues look like Marie Antoinette. I think it will be a blow out in the mid terms and it will have little to do with trump (of course he will take credit) and everything to do with them losing touch with mainstream society. They could have made this election about the price of eggs and instead literally talk about everything else as if they are working for the other side! It’s baffling. So no, feds are not coming back. And I doubt they will get back pay if they didn’t work. And yes this includes my immediate family. |
| TBH, I would rather be ruled by HM King Donald than live in a democracy run by woke Democrats. |
Eh, there were no "states" 250 years ago, if you want to nitpick, but the majority of what are now the 50 states never had slavery. Vermont (state #14) was the first state to enter the union as a free state; all of the northern states had abolished slavery by the end of Thomas Jefferson's first term. I believe PP is referring to the Electoral College system, which was adopted in the 1780s (a bit less than 250 years ago) and was absolutely a compromise on slavery. |
You should emigrate to a place with a king, then, because the whole point of the U.S.A. is that it is a democracy without a king. |
