She's ahead of the curve as far as the party's eventual shift away from Trump/MAGA is concerned. 95% of GOP politicians and 80% of people who identify as Republicans can't wait for Trump to be dead and gone. They're just not quite ready to admit it yet.

I hope she runs for President.

She can’t read. She barely understands what govt is really supposed to do, she is basically one step up from being illiterate. She is another Trump in a wig. We do not need another crazy person as a president.

I'm no fan, but she does have a Business degree from UGA. She's far from illiterate.

A reporter asked if she was vaccinated and she replied that asking her that question was a HIPAA violation. So if she’s not actually dumb as a rock, she’s doing a hell of a job pretending.

That is not an example of being illiterate.

She is a nutter, but at least she has a spine. Right now , I hold her above the Bill Cassidy types and other educated reasonable Republicans who continue to support Trump in every meaningful way.

As some posters have mentioned up-thread, MTG has her finger in the wind and is quick to jump on the momentum train as a grassroots politician. Within the next two to six years, there will be a sharp split in the GOP between those that want to be on the right side of history and those that will make a very unwise decision. MTG wants to seize a political opportunity while on the right side of history. Good call on her part.

So...was she playing a character before, or is she playing a character now?

Both. She wants to be President. She's leading the GOP split to the center. Don't ever trust this person.

Probably both. But she seems to be the only GOP House member besides Massie speaking common sense and taking on Johnson, so I'll take it.

She's an American politician in 2025.

Both. Main Character Syndrome is part of her Dx.

Most recently, she plagiarized Virginia Giuffre’s written note.

Giuffre: "I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal. I have made this known to my therapist and GP – If something happens to me – in the sake of my family do not let this go away and help me to protect them. Too many evil people want to see me[quieted]."

Marjorie Taylor Greene © Verified @mtgreenee:
I am not suicidal and one of the happiest, healthiest people you will meet.
With that said, if something happens to me, I ask you all to find out which foreign government or powerful people would take heinous actions to stop the information from coming out. Not only about this issue, but because of the truth that I have been speaking.

The People understand what I'm saying.

Omg she does NOT have a spine! If she did she would have masqueraded as a crazed Trump rude for 8 years.

I mean I’d rather her cravenly slink back to the sane-train rather than continue the masquerade but ffs please acknowledge she’s doing it bc she sees which way the wind is blowing not bc she has a spine!
