I don't trust her still, but I love that she isn't controlled by the superPACs. She is a loose canon for sure but right now, I like her direction. She is so right about the weaklings in Congress.

She is right, but she’s also reaping what she sowed

Agree. But I’d rather she use her platform to speak out than just hide of embarrassment from supporting a political platform that hates women.

It just shows that it is all performative on the right. they actually know what is good for this country, they are just choosing to destroy it

I believe that it was the Senate that she want to run for and couldn't get Trump's support. As a result, she has gone rogue.

However, I think that there are a couple of other reasons. MTG has her finger in the wind more than most members of Congress. She has a knack for knowing what is popular with the grassroots. She is also a fundraising phenomenon. She is able raise loads of money from small donors. As a result, she can ignore the party's big donors and super pacs who often call the shots.

She is still terrible on plenty of issues so let's not get carried away with praise, however.

+1

And, I worry if this is a game toward more power. MTG wants an endorsement. Trump promises endorsement on the condition she stops
speaking out- Do MTG’s currently held “beliefs” remain solid? Do the values hold?
This is the problem with having a solid moral compass.

How many of the people still following Trump want a woman in charge? Seems like plenty of the followers think women should all be trad wives, there should be one vote per household, etc.

I hope she runs for President.

She can’t read. She barely understands what govt is really supposed to do, she is basically one step up from being illiterate. She is another Trump in a wig. We do not need another crazy person as a president.

I'm no fan, but she does have a Business degree from UGA. She's far from illiterate.

Good lord, no. She's a great bomb thrower but still too crazy to be President.

+1 low class. I don't want her representing our country. Trump is bad enough.

She's an idiot about women not being respected in Congress. The R party has always had issues with getting women to vote for them because they've never taken women or women's issues seriously.

Even a GOP or Dem politician can be correct and righteous every now and then. Kinda like a broken clock. Don't worry, MTG will display her awful self again soon enough.

I live in GA and don't like her at all, but she's not stupid or uneducated (as some posters have claimed).

Omg the space laser comment and QAnon beliefs make her unserious.

A reporter asked if she was vaccinated and she replied that asking her that question was a HIPAA violation. So if she’s not actually dumb as a rock, she’s doing a hell of a job pretending.

Horribly vulgar. But let that not overshadow her opportunistic bent. She latched on to Trump and now wants another path to power and influence.
There is no trusting her, EVER.

I'm not falling for that.

I think she's doing a good job of changing her image.
