How is it that she is the most logical sounding person coming out of DC right now? From health care, Epstein files, government shutdown, Gaza. Has me paying attention.

I believe that it was the Senate that she want to run for and couldn't get Trump's support. As a result, she has gone rogue.

However, I think that there are a couple of other reasons. MTG has her finger in the wind more than most members of Congress. She has a knack for knowing what is popular with the grassroots. She is also a fundraising phenomenon. She is able raise loads of money from small donors. As a result, she can ignore the party's big donors and super pacs who often call the shots.

She is still terrible on plenty of issues so let's not get carried away with praise, however.

Also, she's not part of the Israel lobby and wants to defund Israel since Israelis receive free healthcare and free college while receiving $30-100 billion annually from American taxpayers.

There is no hope. Don't think that way. The reason is that what you see is not what the Trump base sees - they're in a Fox and OAN bubble and see mostly propaganda.

Incredibly naïve to think she’s changed. She wants to run for vice president on a Tucker Carlson ticket. She’s very shrewd and as Jeff said does not need to bend to the donor’s will. She’s kind of pushed side by Maga so she’s flexing her muscles. I love it that she’s got little Mikey💩 in his pants.

MTG's presence in national politics reminds us a lot of AOC's presence but her obvious flaws are too much to stomach. At the end of the day; any politician who isn't a mega-donor puppet is better than most.
