How common do you think swinging is?

How do you know?

Because I connected with a woman on FEELD who fit this profile and literally had numerous couples that they'd have regular standing dates with. They have kids ages 25, 27 and 30(ish).

So gross ! How old were all these people ? I can’t imagine wanting to swing with some sagging old b.ls

+1. I am not interested in no wrinkly dilated pussy lips either

We are retired and I can't imagine swinging with people our age. We have a very active sex life but the lights are on very low.

very uncommon and its usually retirees that have nothing to lose hence the stereotypes of had old people on these resorts

I think it's fairly common where I live and some swingers are really fing annoying. When I'm out with my GF, they are very aggressive about approaching and it's nearly led to violent confrontations before. It's like they are all unicorn hunting.

Me either and I have the same question.

Went to our local bar earlier in the summer. Back room was a private party. Talked to one of the guys who stopped to chat with us as we threw darts. Said they were all swingers. Probably 60 people in there and, OMG, what a bad looking group. Also, I don't think there were 6 women in the group and not one of them was F-able.

25% of adults in the USA have tried it at some point during their lifetimes, according to studies.

Open marriages and swinging are not widespread, with current estimates suggesting around 4-5% of U.S. adults are currently involved in a regular basis in consensual non-monogamy (CNM), which includes open relationships and swinging, though many more have explored it at some point during their lifetimes. While these are minority lifestyles, they are more common than often thought, with roughly one in 25 couples currently participating in CNM.

Those numbers seem high. But I have no basis to support that the numbers are lower. I say this solely on being married for 15 years, and I/wife have never been approached about potential interest in swinging, threesome, poly, etc. Nor have heard of, or seen indication of, friends or others in our circles that engage. Of course, I probably wouldn’t pick up on the signs.
It's because you don't giver off the type of vibes where someone would approach you.

People who do this carry infectious diseases. Get a calculator to figure out the risks people like that pose. Gross and dangerous.

DH's last remaining parent passed away a few years ago. We learned that they used to be swingers. Not shocking that the father was into it, but kind of shocking the mother was. The mother actually told one of the adult children. We think he pressured her into it. He had cheated on her before and was going to leave her. I'm thinking he stayed because she was willing to do this for him. Yuck. DH didn't like his father much even before we found out about the swinging. DH witnessed the blow up after the father was going to leave. I think this made him like the dad even less.

Unknowingly to us my girlfriend and I (F) went to a club the same night that the local swingers club attended. My girlfriends
comment was that you don't have to be attractive to find se_ in our town.

Yes, it’s very hard to find a pretty woman for ENM, threesomes and swinging. I had a Silicone Valley mega figure aggressively court me for this stuff for over a year. I’m just a conventionally attractive late 40s woman with slim proportional body nothing sagging. He was f..,g in all kinds of forms and combinations and shared women with his business partners. I also was propositioned by a bi-sexual woman/international organization exec in DMV to join her and her BF. He didn’t have experience but she loved FFM threesomes and was bored with BF without inviting women to play.

It must be that you give off approachable vibes. I'm younger, slim, attrative, and have never been approached for this type of stuff. Men have hit on me, but they were at least subtle, and definitely never asked me to join a threesome. And I'm around plenty of people through work.

Every 5th man in the US had a threesome - probably you just didn’t ask. At least give men told me on regular Hinge dates. They just tried it but were not actively swinging or poly.

I do have a kink but unrelated to poly, it’s just a lot of kinky people are also bisexual or poly, thus I come across them more often

I wonder if you were open to it if you would hav enoticed people were approaching you (or incrementally starting to) but then stopping.

DH can't do a threesome. He can't even do 69 because he says he gets too distracted.
