I guess it’s fine. The question why coming out and not 200 other options. Maybe we should celebrate more engineers artists or other cultures instead of celebrating several times out sex preferences. Just a question. |
Why not? |
For example women’s day i believe is more important than coming out, and that day is not celebrated at school. |
Then suggest Women's Day. Every school asks the parent population what they want to see celebrated that's not on the calendar. |
| We celebrate the international day of the girl child the same day. Coming out day doesn’t even make sense. We celebrate pride day when it corresponds. |
OK TROLL. YOU ARE MISSING A BRAIN!! |
July 4th, Jan 6th, Dec 25, Oct 31st... I mean pick any date. |
I am sorry. It should be national holiday. Sorry for questioning a celebration that doesn’t take place in most of the world. |
| Coming out day isn't for the kids - it's for the adults that want to celebrate themselves. Personally, I think celebrating anything to do with who you are having sex with should be left to the adults - but when the adults that make the decisions are in charge and want to celebrate themselves... |
| If it's a private school, you are the one paying for your child to be there. Pick a different private school. |
October 11 is a Saturday this year. |
+1. |
That’s a calendar note, not a celebration. I think you’re blowing this way out of proportion. Probably on purpose. Trolls gonna troll. |
Neither is coming out day, according to what you’ve described, which is apparently a listing on the calendar on a Saturday and a mention in a school email. |
Oh come on. You don’t think it’s fine. Stop pretending. |
