This is Taylor’s high school romance. It’s a dream. It’s magical in its time. It won’t last.

Travis’ star power will be on the decline soon and Taylor doesn’t do dead weight.

I’d bet the house that she will upgrade in a couple years max.

He’s clearly an alcoholic and he clearly has advanced CTE from playing the sport for 20 years. And he was already natively dumb. Do the math on how it works out.

Personally, I couldn’t be with a man whose head explodes every time I use an “SAT word.” No amount of fame and money could compensate me for that.

That's what I don't get either. How can she stand to be with a meathead, especially after her last bf?

I can’t fathom how she doesn’t see TK as a meathead too, and can’t help but think their relationship could be a farce and a way for her to show them arty boys esp. Matty that she can pull “a real man.” She has played these games in the past. She even admits to it in Question ? and Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus. “She was on your mind with some meathead guy that you saw that night” & “And you saw my bones out with somebody new who seemed like he would've bullied you in school, and you just watched it happen.”

Matty does not want her. She poured her heart out to him on her last album and his response was to laugh at her (calling it "hilarious" because it was just a fling) and promptly get engaged to another woman. I don't necessarily believe it was never serious (so let's please not rehash the back-and-forth lyrics etc.) but it doesn't matter. She is not choosing Travis over Matty. Matty does not want her. I don't particularly care for Travis Kelce but it's clear he adores her, is proud of her, and is not intimidated by the PR circus that comes with the territory or the fact that she's more famous than he is. That has got to feel good after Joe and Matty who couldn't and/or wouldn't hack it in her world.

A few fun facts about Travis: He took a knee during the Colin Kaepernick anthem protest. He also filmed a Covid and Flu vaccine PSA encouraging people to get their shots. He is not a favorite of MAGA at all.

Wait. How/why do you hate Travis Kelce so much? Not a Chiefs fan?

Hate football, hate loud guys, hairy guys, bearded guys, etc. He's the guy I'd avoid at a party.

I respect and understand your point of view. But it's also very limiting. I too hate football. In fact, I'm morally an ethnically opposed to it. But I hate the game not the player. I have no feelings about Travis Kelce Per se Even though I like Taylor Swift well enough.

but I would walk on glass for Jalen hurts!

It isn’t really limiting when you consider that Kelce has screamed at his coach, made fun of women, and fat people. In fact it is using boundaries and being assertive if you say; hey that guy is funny, but he goes way to far, makes fun of people I care about and wants too much attention. So I don’t want to hang out with that type of guy.

Taylor said she has an eating disorder, which makes you wonder if hanging out with a fat-phobic guy who makes “locker room” types of jokes about bodies is masochism.

But maybe Travis is becoming a better person now that he is with Taylor, who is not anti-fat or a misogynist?

Amen more reason to love him!

Was it also a bit when he was academically ineligible after flunking remedial courses in college and kicked off the team for being a drug addict? Is it also a bit when we can listen to his interviews going back 15 years and he's very clearly a functionally illiterate imbecile who speaks at an elementary school level, laced with s*** and f*** words every other sentence?

Yes, we know. He's a CAA plant as on March 2022 and this relationship is fake.

I have good news for you! You do not have to date him. You seem to really have a bone to pick with this man- so strange. Are you aware there are lots of people in this world who might not be your cup of tea but are still decent people who are allowed to fall in love and be in relationships?

That person is not well. Reminds me of my horrid rigid a-hole aunt whose opinion will never waiver once she decides she knows what the deal is. It’s utterly shocking she’s on her fourth husband.

You "hate him so much" because he's not your type? It takes a whole heck of a lot more than that for me to hate someone.

Imagine sitting at home, hating on a guy you’ve never met when he’s trying to figure out how he can have a rescue otter, make sourdough with his girlfriend and spend free time volunteering at the Children’s Hospital.

Thank you. It’s got to be exhausting for these people to just be on their high horse constantly.

People are also allowed to grow and mature. Remember Taylor’s cringy “she wears short skirts, I wear tee shirts” pick-me anthem? She’s come a long way and maybe, just maybe, so has Travis.
