Taylor swift- 2 hour interview on Travis’s podcast

Anonymous
It was really good interview and you can see she is just talking to her boyfriend and her future brother-in-law. You can see it’s not an interview. It’s conversation and she really has a good relationship with the brother and clearly his children.

She’s really light and breezy even though both her parents had to have major surgery over the summer.

I generally am not a big fan of dating athletes but… this really works because Jason is so grounded and Mrs. Kelsey is really grounded and they keep Travis in check. Travis has spent his whole life being told what to do by coaches since He was 14 years old.

So it really doesn’t phase him to have a PR team or security telling him what to do and where to go.

He’s super hard working and she works hard. I talked about the similarities of him, preparing for football season and her preparing for concert season. They talk about the similarities of after a game versus after our concert. They have to soak their bodies in cold plunges, work with a physical therapist, do acupuncture,

He really truly thinks he’s the luckiest guy in the world.

Another thing is she’s kind of serious and he is the most unserious person in the world and I think that really helps or not take life so seriously.

He reads things about them online and he thinks it’s hilarious and has helped her realize who cares if Jan from DC urban moms says she’s just a washed up Cher… Jason even mentioned why do all these people say X and somebody who he works with was like are you sure it’s everybody or is it just one person online?

Even though they’re all super wealthy right now, I feel like they still eat spaghetti with meat sauce, some nights. They’re extremely relatable and quite normal.

Wait. How/why do you hate Travis Kelce so much? Not a Chiefs fan?

Hate football, hate loud guys, hairy guys, bearded guys, etc. He's the guy I'd avoid at a party.

I respect and understand your point of view. But it's also very limiting. I too hate football. In fact, I'm morally an ethnically opposed to it. But I hate the game not the player. I have no feelings about Travis Kelce Per se Even though I like Taylor Swift well enough.

but I would walk on glass for Jalen hurts!

It isn’t really limiting when you consider that Kelce has screamed at his coach, made fun of women, and fat people. In fact it is using boundaries and being assertive if you say; hey that guy is funny, but he goes way to far, makes fun of people I care about and wants too much attention. So I don’t want to hang out with that type of guy.

Taylor said she has an eating disorder, which makes you wonder if hanging out with a fat-phobic guy who makes “locker room” types of jokes about bodies is masochism.

Okay. But you are stating specifics of kelce,s personality. Not the general loud hairy football player persona the other person mentioned.

I mean Tom Brady is more on because he won't eat nightshades. Brett Favre is a criminal. OJ Simpson is a murderer. But they don't speak for all football players. And again I'm looking at my guys from the eagles!

The biggest indicator of whether they will last is how well Travis can transition post-NFL. I don’t have much hope for his longevity in media despite his hyper popularity now.

This is Taylor’s high school romance. It’s a dream. It’s magical in its time. It won’t last.

Travis’ star power will be on the decline soon and Taylor doesn’t do dead weight.

I’d bet the house that she will upgrade in a couple years max.

But that is why it is a persona- characteristics people take on with a role.

Sure there is a small chance the person under the persona is ok of you are on his “good list” (women he cares about like family and current girlfriends) but then why does he take on the persona of loud party guy?

And even more if you dislike loud party guy why get to know him more if you hate his party persona.

I’m not seeing what you miss out on if you hate spending time with him in public.

Remember that Taylor is a serial cheater as well. It’s easy to envision the white picket fence lifestyle with adorable lil bébés for her and Travis.

BUT she wants what she wants and will get what she wants. And Travis adoration will start to bore her when he’s not dominating the NFL anymore.

I commend Taylor for being so mentally healthy and really reacting well to her fame/the crazy circus she finds herself in and with Travis. They both are down to earth and have such good heads on their shoulders.

When someone shows you who they are believe them. Read his tweets watch him yell and shove his coach. Why should someone who has had experience with guys who “joke”and tweet as kelce did be required to welcome similar behavior?

Taylor will be DV'd by Travis and he'll blame it on NFL head trauma

Travis comes across as pretty basic and not too bright. It’s clear Taylor has a domineering personality and enjoys being adored, so in that respect they are perfect for each other: he is out of her league intellectually and loves a cushy life style and publicity, so he will do her bidding for as long as she is interested in him…might very well turn into a marriage.
None of her other boyfriends were willing to blindly follow her lead like that.

People grow and mature. Do you want to held to the worst things you’ve said or done in your life?

I disagree. I think this is last boyfriend. They have tremendous chemistry and I don’t think it’s about gaining more fans.

Do you think those are the “worst things” he has done? I don’t. He just did them carelessly while “joking” with friends online.
Feel free to surround yourself with “grown up” Kelce-types. But don’t be surprised when the jokes turn on someone you care about or even you. And why judge people who see the behavior and want to steer clear?

Anonymous wrote:The PR relationship thing is so bogus. I guess it could be argued easily that Kelce is in it for the PR, but Swift absolutely does not need a PR relationship. At least on her end, it is genuine. She hasn't gained any fans. He has.

She needed to one-up Matty Healy though, and quickly, since he moved on to Gabriette pretty swiftly himself. Travis was good for that purpose as he is the opposite of MH.

The players play the game. They agree to take millions of dollars for a season of football, rather than saying for example, "No, I don't need that much so let's give some of that to the cheerleaders and heck, to public school teachers who work more months per year than I do and have to get more formal education than I do." And they're constantly filing bankruptcy, or getting arrested for DUI/DWI, abusing a wife or girlfriend, cheating on someone, etc. Overall not a good bunch of people. Colin K is an exception, IMO.
