Taylor swift- 2 hour interview on Travis’s podcast

I feel the lavender haze creepin' up on me
Surreal, I'm damned if I do give a damn what people say
No deal, the 1950s shit they want from me
I just wanna stay in that lavender haze
All they keep askin' me (all they keep askin' me)
Is if I'm gonna be your bride
The only kind of girl they see (only kind of girl they see)
Is a one-night or a wife
I find it dizzying (yeah, oh, yeah)
They're bringin' up my history (yeah, oh, yeah)
But you aren't even listening (yeah, oh, yeah)

I feel that people that write paragraphs of not liking her, with their venomous attacks much more cringe worthy than her super fans.

I have no idea if Taylor wants kids, she might very well go down the Stevie Nicks route as she seems to revere her. But if she does, she’d be foolish to settle for chubby dummy kids. My bet is that neither she nor the tortured poet are going to marry their current partners of 2 years.

She is only 35 yet some of you are acting like she’s a post menopausal woman. She can have kids whenever she is damn well ready.

I know every deluded girl boss in D.C. lies to themselves that 35 and 36 (which TS will be in 3 months) is not old but fertility at that age is already nearly extinguished and any hypothetical pregnancy is a high-risk geriatric. "Geriatric pregnancy, also known as advanced maternal age, refers to pregnancy in women aged 35 and older."

She and TK are old. More than old enough to know long before two years of dating if they're going to marry or not. Have kids with each other or not.

This is all 100% fake to milk the public.

My husband and I had the exact same timeline. Met mid-30s, dated for three years, got engaged/married/had kids in late 30s. Later than most not hardly delusional.

You are probably replying to the woman who stays up nights filled with rage that SATC was designed to be propaganda for a generation of women (even though 2 of the 4 women had kids and loved being moms so not clear what this propaganda machine did exactly but she is seriously butt hurt about it).

Sure, dear. And you got pregnant immediately. No issues, no complications. No fertility doctor needed. Healthy Mensa babies who model for Ralph Lauren. And you and your husband have a killer sex life. You have it all.

Stevie sounds miserable and regretful in interviews because she didn’t have kids when she could have. Didn’t she famously abort one too? I could be misremembering.

NP. This is why these threads devolving into this topic suck so bad - because people like you literally take what you think you know about a pop star and a football player and start attacking people online for sport. You are seriously unwell and disturbed.

And the crazy fanbase calls this a love story, lol. Some of you need to get out more.
The key is if it’s something they want but so many people act like not getting married or not having kids is some failure. It’s not for everyone.

Is it only true love if they’ve been married before and already have children? Weird take.

Im suspicious of the story they are telling too. But taylor at least was in a six year committed relationship (even if she was longing for matty healy during some of it), which i wouldn't call relationship hopping.

TS and TK are way past the age where most people find the love of their life. Either of them could have found a stable partner by now. They are not spouse material, neither for each other no for another person. All of this is a publicity stunt.

They are not most people. Taylor is arguably the most famous person in the world, and one of the richest. TK is a football star. They aren’t two college dropouts working the night shift at the local factory.

Taylor Swift can have kids whenever she wants to. Even if she is 54, she has the money and can get a surrogate. Even if this gets outlawed in the USA, Taylor Swift has enough money that will be able to have biological children with a surrogate from another country if she wants to.

That said, isn’t she a college dropout? Was she homeschooled in high school?

Ah yes, zero risks at all to IVF, extracting eggs, freezing eggs, using surrogates, and having babies in your 50s. Swift could die of cancer in a few years. Kelce could have early onset dementia in five years. How genius is that plan to have kids in her 50s going to be then? Life is short and these two are old and still acting like they're 20. It's cringe.

DP. What I find "cringe" is your bizarre insistence that 35 is somehow old. Seriously? You must be very, very immature to think something like that.

They both turn 36 in a couple of months. They're old. If this was true love they'd be hitched and she'd be pregnant by now. It's all a grift.

Why do people act like getting married and having children is a. Everyone’s goal, and b. Some kind of special achievement? Neither are.
Thank you. I’ve never understood this myself, like they’ve failed without marriage or children. My thought is that people that don’t want kids don’t want a 24 hour job and I get it.

I don't disagree overall but it's really not a 24/7 job if you're a literal billionaire. You'll have a staff caring for them. It's hardly difficult to make it work (at that level), if it's something you want.
Some people act like it’s some life failure to not want marriage or kids.

It is. And it’s literally all she sings about for the last 20 years.

That's preposterously absurd. It's simply a choice, one way or the other. You suck, actually.

What's absurd is to make corny songs about love, romantic relationships, and sadness about breakups as part of your public persona, while in your real life you conduct yourself as someone who has no interest in stable romantic relationships. In your mid 30s it becomes total cringe to hop from shomance to shomance for the teeny boppers. Everything has a self-life and this shtick ages like milk. Why not be honest and make music about being a party girl who is never going to be tied down by a man. That would be cool and authentic.

Are you twelve? You've got to be a middle schooler. At any rate, you're aware her last relationship, prior to Travis Kelce, lasted SIX years? I'd call that a stable romantic relationship. And it's highly amusing that she lives rent-free in your vapid, cavernous head. I tend to ignore things and people that I can't stand. Not you - you like to obsess over them!

I am a new postwr replying to you. Just want to point out that her prior relationship didn’t really last SIX years as you said. That’s what Tree Paine wants us all to believe. But if you listen to Taylor’s songs from those years carefully, she was clearly in love and likely hooking up with Matt Healy. I wouldn’t be surprised if her relationship with Joe lasted a couple of years, after which they stayed “together” for the sake of her overcoming her serial dater label and a career boost for Joe. Some of it was during the Covid years too and easy to cover it all up.
Listen to Folklore, Evermore and Midnights. Songs like August, Illicit Affairs, Gold Rush, Cowboy Like Me, Ivy, Maroon, Snow On The Beach make it pretty obvious.

You are in need of therapy. Anyone who has dissected a stranger's personal life to this extent needs a real hobby.

It is okay if people disagree with you. You can love love love Taylor and the next person can this she is meh. Part of living in a democracy is disagreement. You are mature and smart and you can disagree without insulting people. Even if they don’t like Taylor.

I would advise you to take your own advice. Somehow, I don't think you do.

Totally agree. I don't consider myself a super-fan or a "Swiftie," but I like her, admire her work ethic, and love many of her songs. That's normal. But the haters are something else. It would be different if there was something to hate about her! But there honestly isn't, which makes their hatred all the more unhinged.
