Park Police enforcing open container laws with arrests

Anonymous
This is what happens when we elect 13 “community activists” to the Council. Would it kill us if we elected someone with any actual business, law enforcement, medical expertise?

I’m in CP. Where/when are you seeing this?

We go to Wolf Trap (National Park Service's concert arena in Virginia right outside DC) all the time. It's BYOB and you can bring whatever alcohol you want and can drink the entire concert. They sell alcohol too. I also like concerts with a bottle of wine, preferably my own!

Yeah, and then you drive home drunk. Glad I don't live near Wolf Trap.

We found the guy who smokes weed in public parks.

Smoking weed in a park is not really a problem. MYOB

I have a problem with it. I don’t wanna smell your dope, or watch you walking around in a daze, or be sitting behind you at an intersection and be stuck there because you’re too stoned to realize the light has been green for 20 seconds.

Kill your brain cells at home, pothead.

Thank you. And the evidence is showing that you are killing off your lungs and heart with pot.

Near the CBD store? On the benches along Connecticut? In your neighborhood?

Take a look at Wolf Trap on a map. Not so walkable. And the rideshare area, which Uburs must use, is a congested nightmare post event at Wolf Trap.

You voted for no beer at your family reunion picnic in the picnic pavilions in the park?

Yes, why are you drinking at your family reunion at a National Park? Get help. Alcoholic weirdo.

Wine doesn’t affect people the same way beer or liquor does, idiot. Relax.

Arent’ you bright!! Alcohol available at a concert=people driving drunk. So you must be advocating for no alcohol at all in restaurants or bars, no beer with your pizza otherwise people drive back drunk. Let’s go back to the roaring 20s and prohibition then. Guess you dont know what it means to be responsible adults. When we go to a restaurant or dinner with friends, if my DH drinks and do not snd drive back. Or we take Uber or Metro. We are late 50s-early 60s, never had a problem with alcohol.

Business- no Trump is a disaster. Law-enforcement - no Eric Adams. Medical expertise - no because they would insist upon vaccinations and mask wearing.

It stinks and no one wants to smell it. I have zero problem if you want to pop a gummy.

Awesome. Our council is such an embarrassment. Why can’t they see how much people want this and change DC laws?
