It was insane - they had her on camera even though she denied it and when they took it out of her desk she didn't have any real explanation for why she did it. Must have been a kleptomaniac.

Right. And was this girl splashed all over the pages of ABL and XOXOhth? Nope, only the ones who do silly things get ostracized and humiliated. The criminals and sociopaths get a big pass.

No it was pretty hush hush. But it was also the summer of Aquagirl so she couldn't really compete.

That’s my point …

I love this crazy shit. I just emailed a link about this to one of our summer associates and wrote "Thank you for not biting me, even once."

Medical issues is no excuse to be violent. I’m so sick of apologists for this kind of behavior.

This. And PP this person was in school 2 months ago, or less we don’t know when the biting happened. Was she biting people at school too?

I need more details on how this happened. Like did she just grab an hand and bite? Drunk and biting faces? Hug and bite the ear?

That is definitely fictional AI slop.

I don't think so. There is a story about it on Above the Law, which is usually accurate. https://abovethelaw.com/2025/07/summer-associates-naughty-toddler-impression-gets-her-bounced-from-biglaw/

Plus, a poster on Reddit--yeah, I know people sometimes make stuff up--said she did it during the Northwestern moot court competition.

As someone who was defamed by ATL, who then corrected them and was further denigrated for that effort...I don't find them accurate.

Why do you need any details or any information? Why does this affect the public.

The crazy thing is that there were multiple, escalating incidents. Which means she was almost certainly told to stop, potentially more than once, but she continued. Wild.

Please remember that there is a person who is not a public figure on the other side of this whose story is not being accurately portrayed. The context is nobody's business because nobody is pursuing any legal action against her and she never chose to put her life in the public eye.

She made a mistake. She's beyond aware. And hopefully she's learned a lesson.

But in a mom's forum, she's not a Casey Anthony, Mary Kay Letourneau, or Michaele Salahi. Please allow her the grace to try to move on and find a career for herself in a profession where people take on student debt. She is someone who cares deeply to repay these loans and use her education to better the world. The cyberbullying only serves to do the opposite.

No, that's not how it happened. But this is the issue: the fabricated story has gotten out of control.
