I understand the WCAC/ISL 2026 landscape and, for now, will go along with your comments about Visi’s 2029 class. What about the rest of the rosters (i.e., the 2027s and 2028s)? Overall, which teams would be expected to have some success over the next several years based on current/expected rosters? Just to be clear, I am not only talking about Visi here, which I know is an unusual thing for someone to do recently on this forum.

I’d say it is more the Capital Forum than the Visi forum.

My math could be bad but I count ZERO Capital posts on this forum. WTF.

ZERO? WTF? Sounds like someone is stressed right now.

NP here. There are no Capital posts on any of the 4 pages of this forum. I’m hoping you are confusing this with another forum and not seeing things that don’t exist, in which case it would be important to see a medical professional soon. Be well.

This is technically a topic not a forum, but point taken. There are no Capital references within the four pages on this topic, nor should there be considering the topic. The person making similar comments in several other topics on this forum is well known and has some issues. Just ignore and move on if it’s not too late to salvage this interesting topic to many.

Visi drops off dramatically after ‘26. ‘27 and ‘28 are very weak classes. Have no idea who is in the ‘29 class but sounds more like trolling.

Does visi have a coach ? Yay or nay?

Anyone willing to give thoughts on your school for the upcoming year based on strength of 2027 class, 2028's making an impact? Will leave 2029 incoming out of the assessment.

It's Saints to lose next year with their very talented 26 class.

Potomac and SJC have those most impactful 28s and many of them started last year varsity or got decent amount of playing time.

ISL pre-season rankings

1. Saints
2. SR

3. Potomac

4. Visi
5. Holy Child

Saints and SR are the clear front runners. Potomac while they graduated a ton, could very well act as a dark-horse.

Visi program is a mess. I have them at 4 because they have some individual talent. The school needs a serious self reflection and carve out a full time role for a HC otherwise the job will be a revolving door every 2 - 3 seasons.

Holy Child is getting better .

And that will be end of the road for the Saints as a top tier team.

Potomac graduated a ton indeed. I’d swap Visi and Potomac on this list. Yes, I know Visi sucks and all the rest.

Generally agree. Potomac retains talent. Whether Saints can keep it going for the full season is a question.

And if they can stay healthy.

Potomac retains SOME talent. Unfortunately they lost more than can be backfilled unless there have been some transfers I don’t know about. They had a great team last year, but there’s no need to pretend the 2026 team will be nearly as good.
