For 2025-26, with a few possible exceptions (eg, NVA and SYC teams may be closer to ECNL than other GA teams).

Those two clubs' Aspire teams are also going to be stronger than most ECNLRL teams. Not all teams but most.

Doubtful. NVA and Loudoun both have a GA team, so what ever ends up playing in Aspire is going to be a third level team at best. Unlikely they would beat most RL teams.
SYC's GA2 teams now aren't that good and trail most RL teams in the area.

You're missing the point. GA is much stronger than ECNL-RL. If you're filling your GA team with RL players, you're not going to be competitive in GA.

Agree, if you're going GA you'll want to be on a team competitive in the GA, and one stacked with RL players will not be competitive. It may become competitive after a few years.. maybe. But not out the gate.

That's the problem with this argument though. There are a bunch of brand, spanking new GA teams all around, but the player pool to choose from has not changed. Most of these new GA teams are going to be filled with former RL players (or RL level players). It's not like here all of a sudden is a new pool of better players from which these new GA teams can select from.

nah not true. There isnt enough ECNL teams to go around. And teams like FVU are over rostering. Heard some of the age groups which includes young ones is approaching 24. Parents are not going to be happy when sally doesnt even dress.

I agree. Do you think McLean will continue to go FVU or a one year plan because of DB? It will be really interesting to see how 2012, 2013, etc migrate over time. Stay with club in GA or look to go ECNL over time. I suppose a lot of this has to do with whether ECNL continues to stay the stronger platform for girls.

Nearly the entire MYS 2013 first team is going to Union. None of those first team players are staying at MYS GA. Not a single one. Contrast Loudoun, SYC, and VRSC 2013 first teams, who are moving as blocks to their club's GA teams and in fact have picked up quality players. Maybe MYS will become a more attractive draw over time, especially if GA begins to catch ECNL as a league, but 2025-26 is going to be ugly for MYS.

2013 at FVU is over rostered. No doubt angry parents will leave FVU next year. And I am sure MYS is still leaving open offers. I feel it’s going to get ugly at FVU.

NVA is still loudoun. And that team is pretty stacked for next season.

Sorry, not buying this as a sincere question. If it is truly a top GA team then your ECNL RL girl isn't making that top GA team if she isn't getting a snif from her ECNL team. My daughter plays on a top GA team and every girl on there would make an ENCL team.

Where are the 8 players being replaced on Union going? That could drastically improve an entire 2009 team in GA.

You’re delusional. The Rankings app has the first 2013 Alexandria team ranked outside the top 700 nationally. Loudoun’s top team (next year’s NVA GA team) is 52, SYC’s is 73, and VRSC is 142. All of those teams are staying together for GA next year. McLean’s first team went to Union, but even their second team is 301. Alexandria’s first 2013 team didn’t even go to Jeff Cup.

Alexandria’s first 2012 team played three games at Jeff Cup, all against teams outside the app’s top 100, and they won once and drew twice.

The app’s algorithm is wrong, but it’s not THAT wrong.

Lets be better than citing a ranking tool as proof of anything. Plenty of clubs 2nd teams rank higher than their 1st just because 2nd teams have had more success in lower brackets at tournaments. It means nothing.

By ranking every team sequentially, the app has a massive level of false precision, but there is zero chance a team ranked 731 (Alex 2013) will be competitive with a team ranked in the top 150.

Great explanation and I fear the previous poster is thinking of got soccer rankings which are completely useless. The app is legit.
