I don’t understand why anyone would want to read her book. Why is she interesting?
I could maybe understand why you might listen to a free podcast interview, but even that might get boring. |
Would only be interesting if she spills the tea on what Bill and Epstein were up to. She herself is boring, but she seems desperate to try to carve out some space as a "voice" or authority. |
+1 Me too. Her kids all seem pretty functional--the eldest is a doctor. Melinda could have been a Lauren Sanchez and just hang around celebrities on a yacht all day. But she's gone to the poorest countries in the world and tried to help bring medicine and clean water. And I think her new org is focused specifically on helping poor women. |
A whiny evil gold digger with an endless budget to buy books and PR. Insufferable woman. |
Money doesn't compensate for your husband going on junkets to Epstein Island. |
|
Wow, some of the posts here are totally bonkers. Melinda has been speaking out on behalf of the most vulnerable populations in the world for decades and she has sat for many, many interviews, so before you judge her, I recommend that you go on YouTube and listen to her first. She cares about providing free birth control to women in extremely impoverished areas and actually spends the money to make it happen. She is an amazing speaker and non-profit leader. So much jealousy on dcum. |
And why can't she whine about it?? He treated her awful at the end. |
She clearly divorced him over the Jeffrey Epstein stuff - she knows more than what she is saying. |
Again, I don’tbuy that. If he was an active user of Epstein ‘s services, he would be compromised and thus he would be part the billionaire club currently supporting the President. |
Pray tell why this marketing dept. bimbo and her COLLEGE DROP OUT ex-husband were ever / are the face of global public health? |
Because few want to pay for it. Including the current Republican administration. |
Their foundation received plenty of tax breaks. |
We know what she does, pp. But imho I would rather hear from the person whose FT job/career focuses on the work rather than from the billionaire philanthropist. As someone whose career has focused on such things, I can report that Philanthropy plays an important role, but the philanthropists are just people who have/demand a platform thanks to their money. Sure, she’s read up on the issues and makes thoughtful decisions, but she’s not an expert who deserves the attention she gets. Nobody likes listening to the billionaire pontificate about the poor after she’s just flown in on a private jet and will retreat to one of her many mansions after the photo op. |
It's specifically Jeffrey Epstein's plane on which he flew and flew others to his private island. |
