How many Jewish students attend ND? In recent years, ND tends to attract right wingers who seem fine with dictators and genocide. (I say this as someone who once loved ND and almost attended) |
Yes! Personal, petty vendetta leadership. |
So much is unprecedented these days so who really knows, but I’d be very surprised if this happens. I can see a backslash against Republican students though. Rightfully so. |
Vance wrote in his book that OSU is a liberal hellhole and he took a double courseload to graduate as quickly as possible. |
I agree, and we need to push back! |
I don’t think protests are antisemitic, so I think I agree w you. But there were protests in 2023 and 2024 and arrests at Notre Dame. |
vance sounds charming. vance also complained that he didn't fit in with anyone socially at yale so he had to hang with a pack of social rejects (which he includes his wife usha in and also a transgender friend that is no longer on speaking terms with vance) as they were the only ones who would hang out with him. now none of vance's crew of misfits will acnknowledge him except for his wife obviously whose stuck with him for life. she got instructions after she quit her job to return to breeding because vance said he wants even more kids now. |
What is your basis for your second sentence? I don't think that is true from my experience and knowing kids who attend. Please don't tell me you are taking the position of one prominent graduate and assuming everyone is just like that person. |
Agree. People are getting distracted here. His DOJ was focused on the antisemitism piece a year ago when Dems ignored it. I'm a Harris voter and was disgusted by what happened on college campuses. I'm ok with this. Get rid of antisemitism. It has NO place at a university. And if that means isolating the Critical race theory programs (and their professors) where a lot of this hate hides, so be it. https://mckinneylaw.iu.edu/events/_docs/T-3B_Shalev.pdf |
Agree - AU was pretty balanced on free speech but not tolerating antisemitism. I thought they did a great job. I don't think they belong on this list. It makes me feel think, like so many haphazard actions going on right now, that there's some randomness and a lack of thoughtfulness. Just aiming at anyone the trump administration dislikes. |
Your first and third sentences are correct which is why your second one is not. This should be taken very seriously Attacking academia is a classic move. |
If you can't find anyone to hang out with at a 60,000 person school, that's a user error. |
+100 especially surprising given the absence of GW, which was the epicenter of student protests in DC |
|
"Relentless antisemitic eruptions that have severely disrupted campus life for more than a year???"
I'm at JHU every day, and the situation was pretty peaceful and tame here and resolved peacefully after the president met with them. And yet we are on the list, for what? Not setting dogs and firehoses on peaceful protesters? |

Anyone else not thinking "Mao's Cultural Revolution"? Find an excuse to close the universities down, imprison/impoverish the professors, and promote the students that have the right ideology to lead the country.
